Nuffield Health Bournemouth Hospital

Had a procedure today under GA. Everyone from the friendly receptionist to the bright, cheerful porter through to the lovely Health Assistant nurse to the theater and recovery staff were amazing. I was treated as an individual at all times and with kindness, care, compassion and humour. Even the lady taking my catering order did the upmost to make sure I had something to eat to suit my taste.My room was clean and calming.I only wish I could thank and praise all of the staff individually!

Utterly useless. Administration is the worst I've ever seen in a private hospital. They never answer the phones, you can never get through and when you do they have to go away and ask someone else but they don't get an answer.

I recently had a cataract operation at the Nuffield. Everything was made very easy, lovely theatre staff, helpful catering staff and kind nursing staff. I was very nervous, they all helped me to relax

I went to see Dr Seth re suspected CFS after seeing my private GP. A little disappointed as I was her last appointment before she was going on holiday and it was very clear she was rushing the appointment and I didn't get to really talk or cover anything. She was obviously keen to finish . So I got 20 mins for £250! . But Lynsey her secretary is outstanding. Literally every email I had a speedy reply and always on the same day. And sometimes within the hour. Very efficient on the phone too when booking in an appointment. A credit to Nuffield. Thank you Lynsey. Sadly I wouldn't book a follow up with Dr Seth.

The actual consultants are wonderful but having used this hospital since the early 90's I have to say the administration is now pitiful! It takes ages to get an answer on the phone to query an invoice. They want email which they promise will be looked at 'within 7 days'!? Put through to the wrong extension. Then put through to customer services - answer phone. I'm just trying to pay a bill!!! It would be zero stars but the medical team there are wonderful.Get more admin staff for goodness sake. You want people to pay you surely?

I would recommend this hospital higher if I could. From dealings with Mr Whitworth, my surgeon who was always professional and showed great care before and after surgery, what a great gentleman, to the dedicated nurses and staff members who were always very caring friendly and attentive to everything. Thank you

The service I got from Nuffield Bournemouth was par excellence- from the minute I got admitted for a day surgical procedure till discharge around 9pm, the service was top notch. The quality of food was excellent. Highly recommend.

Parking is terrible - this hospital has the most ridiculously narrow parking bays. There is no way to get out of your car other than climb out the boot if there are cars parked in the bays either side of you. I don’t have a particular big car either so if you drive a SUV forget it!

I had a small procedure and found the reception, theater, ward and catering staff really friendly and helpful. It made me feel more relaxed and confident, thank you
