I booked Hunky Dory for my bridal hair and can't recommend Meigan enough! Not only is she super talented, she is such a genuinely lovely person! I couldn't have imagined a more laid back morning as we all felt in such good hands! I went for one of Meigan's signature half up/half down styles which ended up exactly as I wanted and amazingly stayed in place the whole day, despite lots of dancing outside and some very windy weather! My mum and sister both loved their hair and even though they weren't totally sure what style they wanted, Meigan knew exactly what would look best and they couldn't have been happier! I've already recommended Hunky Dory to others and hopefully will have an occasion come up soon so I can get my hair done again! Thanks again! x

Friendly, personal and professional service every time. Meigan had been doing my hair for a long time and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my colour. Meigan always takes time to discuss the condition of my hair and chat about what would suit my hair when I fancy a change. Love the new salon. It has a very modern vibe and a welcoming, relaxing feel. Feel pampered with freshly ground coffee in an individual cafitiere which adds to the whole experience.Would highly recommend!

Meigan did my hair and makeup for my wedding on 02/02/2020. She also did h&m for mother of the bride, mother of the groom and best woman. She did makeup for my bridesmaid too. She was a consummate professional, on time, completely prepared with a good working schedule for everyone to keep too. She was pleasant company and I couldn't have asked for a better supplier! Also arranged for trial hair and makeup where we made a good plan for how I would look on my wedding day. Her salon in Stirling is lovely too. Highly recommend her to anyone getting married.

The first time I went to Meigan, I remember I’d been looking for a new hairdressers to try for a while and Meigan happened to follow me on Instagram. I absolutely loved the look of her work and wanted to go there straight away!Meigan is so lovely and really easy to chat to! It was really nice to have a real conversation with my hairdresser compared to some of the “small talk” that others will try to have. I was made to feel extremely comfortable on my first visit and Meigan made sure that I was 100% happy with my cut and colour. I left feeling super happy and knew that I would be going to HunkyDory in future :)I would 100% recommend Meigan to anyone who is wanting to find a hairdressers to go to in Stirling. She is professional, lovely and so enthusiastic about her work!

Meigan was an absolutely wonderful choice for my wedding hairdresser and make up. She was so relaxed and friendly and made me and my bridesmaids feel completely at ease. I had never met her before and hadn’t managed to do a trial, but it didn’t matter at all – she was easily able to provide what we asked for, or to improvise for the less knowledgeable or decisive amongst us! I was very happy with my hair and make up, which was just the natural look I was after, and both stayed in place well into the evening (and next day!). Would highly recommend.

Meigan did my bridal hair and makeup, as well as hair for my bridesmaids, and she was absolutely amazing!! I was so happy with the finished result and received so many compliments, and my hair lasted all night! She is such a lovely person and so professional, it was such a nice and relaxed morning getting ready. I would definitely use Meigan again for any events and would recommend her to anyone!

I used Hunky Dory for all my bridal party for my wedding and some of my family too. Meigan and team were absolutely outstanding. They were on time, ready to go, professional and friendly. I just went to get my hair cut by Adrienne Higgins at hunky dory hair design. I’ve followed Adrienne here from Lumia spa as she as been cutting my hair for several years now, and she is the best. I am quite fussy because I have long hair and she does such an amazing job! She adds a really lovely personal touch too and really gets to know her regular clients. I had a problem with my scalp being very dry and she always knows the right recommendations to keep your scalp and hair looking their best! I love the premises because it’s near the town so can get a few things done before getting my hair cut. I highly recommend going to Adrienne at hunky dory hair design!

I first visited Hunky Dory when it had just opened about 6 months ago and absolutely loved it! This is when I first met Meigan and honestly had the best hair cut of my life! She really listened to what it was I wanted and achieved the look I was going for.I’ve been back again and this time for a colour! I originally thought to go for highlights but after talking with Meigan we decided that balayage would be the best technique to achieve the end goal. She really took her time to make sure the colour was right and that I was happy and I really was, I skipped out of the salon!If you’re thinking of getting your hair cut or coloured you’re in the safest hands possible and you will not be disappointed!
