The self checkout area was chaotic this morning with staff allowing shoppers with trolleys in there. The area is only suitable for baskets. They really need to sort this out.Also, the scales for weighing fruit and veg are always dirty. It needs to be added to the daily cleaning schedule.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well stocked the shelves were and impressed with the quality of the freshness of the variety of vegetables, fruits, all meat products, dairy products and other foods items. The clothing areas and other areas were very well stocked, maintained and offering great selection of merchandise. The cleanliness and hygiene of all sections of the store is legendary Sainsbury’s, a very welcoming, relaxing, friendly, energising and pleasantly refreshing place to shop. The service is top notch with shop staff ever so friendly and readily accessible and available to assist and serve customers in many ways. I recall taking to a lady, one of the staff who explained to us the meal deal upgrades we were not sure what it meant, and she did a fantastic job explaining it! Many shops seem to be struggling with stocking their shelves, but this is not the case here! I recommend this store for those who want an irresistible relaxing, high quality shopping experience!

Tils always un-staffed and have remained this way. Often have to ask them to open a till, despite a queue of people waiting for a till to open. Often have to wait ages for the one person working to fix the self-service points when they error (which is often)Gone downhill over last few months.Items are moved around the shop on a weekly basis so you can never find anything.Items on special offer have empty shelves.Nectar prices are a con with inflated original prices listed and of course, they sell your personal Nectar data.Thank goodness for Aldi and Lidl nearby

Really miffed with Sainsbury’s having the audacity to stick a ‘price lock’ label by the price of the Colgate Flourigard mouthwash. It was under £5, then went up to £5 in the last year-ish, and recently has gone up to £6! And Sainsbury’s have stuck a ‘price lock’ label underneath to give the impression they are locking the price, they’ve just put it up by another £1! Don’t take the piss by pretending, just rinse us and be done with it.

The store is massive and there is almost never a shortage of items. From house furnishing to clothes to food you can find anything and everything. The fresh aisle always smells amazing and has a reduced section for things that will expire soon which is very nice. The staff are super helpful and the store now also has an argos inside which is very practical

Tesco's is better.They seemed to have massively inflated the prices if you haven't got a Nectar card now.Alcohol prices seem to have massively increased. Considering the duty on it has gone up about 1p on beer, the prices have shot up.I always hate going to this shop because I usually need to phone someone to ask what we need and there is never any phone or 4G signal to make a call. Always very frustrating visiting here.
