DFS Aberdeen

Bought my settee from them 3 years ago. Was just back in for a nosey and too get settlement date cos I forgot it. Staff are great, especially the wee blonde lass, sorry forgot yir name.

Would not recommend DFS to anyone. The incompetence of the store and company as a whole is embarrassing. They cancelled my whole order leaving me to wait a further 8-10 weeks for delivery after having already waited 8 weeks, they then promised me to get my furniture delivered within a matter of days once it arrived in the Glasgow depot. Once it arrived they booked delivery for a further 2 weeks (after promising a couple of days) ignored my phone calls for 2 weeks. Finally spoke to someone yesterday and my delivery has not even been booked!!! And they tried to make me wait a further 2 weeks and again promised a call back yesterday to arrange something sooner and what a surprise no one has phoned me again! Not to mention the call centre who tell you different things every time you phone, certain people can direct your call to the store and conveniently others cannot. Absolute disgrace of a company.

Please please spare yourself and do not deal with DFS Kittybrewster! We spent £1,200 on a sofa which was delivered with a 3 inch tear in the fabric at the back. Delivery men must have seen it but dishonestly hid it against the wall. We reported in next day and requested a refund but were refused. Because it's custom made DFS say it must be repaired, but they'll only do that Mon to Fri 8am to 4pm. They want us to take holidays or finish work early to let the repair man in! 2 months on from delivery and hours of us calling them, waiting on hold, getting nowhere. They're refusing a refund because we allowed them to order the new part". It's just abit of fabric!!! And they forced that on us!We're stuck in limbo with no solution and zero flexibility from DFS

I'm absolutely disgusted with your store! I'm still waiting for someone to get back about my second sofa that needs to be also fixed! Also we were supposed to be compensated for the last delivered broken sofa that took you over a YEAR to sort!!! Never in my life have I had to fight to get something even half decent in my life! My order number 55ZDO2806, my credit statement is all wrong and we are paying you more money then we are meant to! Is it going to have to take me driving over an hour to come to the store and sort this mess out face to face! Nobody is doing there job!

Sofas, chairs and the odd setee. . Not a bad place, sales team better than some places. At least you get peace to walk around and try them out .

We were approached by employee Chris early in our visit, funnily enough whilst we were sat on a sofa we liked. I mentioned what we were looking for, and he kindly took us to several sofas with the same pocket spring seats. We fell in love with a couple and settled on one. We hate pushy salespeople, but Chris was not one of these. He provided advice and pricing information and was very approachable. Glad we went back to DFS as a returning customer.

Everything was dandy when looking at sofa's. Can't fault the salesman. Made a great review on the day. Afterwards waiting for delivery, they didn't care. Shop staff attitudes are horrendous. Won't be buying from them again.Any complaints best speak to those in Glasgow branch. 1 star was for the gentleman that sold the sofa to us. Branch manager worth nothing!!!!

Wide range of sofas, a truly fascinating experience. I was overwhelmed by the vast array of sofas and furniture on offer. I was also blown away by the sheer commitment and professionalism of all of the friendly staff. They even let me use the toilet!!!
