Good facilities for a conference room other than the WiFi which didn't work on my device so had to use my mobile data. Luckily I've got plenty and mobile signal is good in the hotel. Catering for lunch was quite good. Need to make sure they put the right serving utensils out as it was a bit tricky to get the chocolate tart onto a plate.

Very nice atmosphere, the rooms were cute, clean and the bed was comfortable. There is so much to do in the hotel that you really don't need to venture out if you don't want to however, there are loads of places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. Staff were very nice, friendly and willing to assist. The decor in the bar/lounge is very nice and cosy. All in all, definitely a nice place to go for work or play. I had a lovely time here and would visit again.

Supposedly cool relaxed vibe unfortunately extends to the bar staff and reception too who were slow.Bold design looks dated and shabby now.Breakfast good and varied but cold.Rooms comfortable but very noisy, none of them have baths and the fan sounds like a tractor with no information in room as to instructions. I turned it off eventually. Also no info in room regarding amenities, local area, etc.

Nice looking hotel with a scented lobby. Friendly staff. Good looking rooms. Unfortunately, the location doesn't do the hotel any favours; I've stayed twice and the road noise is quite disturbing - even late at night.

Friendly staff. Hotel designed around parties. None of the draft taps worked in the bar, the lifts didn't work and there was no hot water in the shower. Rooms were clean and quite.

The reception bar area is cool with lots of different games to play. Staff were nice but the bar seemed under manned, took a long time to get served for drinks. We had burgers from the restaurant took a about 40 minutes to come out and when they did they were just about warm, would have sent back if I wasn’t so hungry. The burgers were quite small but they were very tasty, I would give the restaurant another try.Room felt a bit dated, was expecting a bit more.

Great location, nice room, the live music Tuesday was a bonus.The first day I waited well over half an hour for my meal and when it came I had to send it back as it was cold (Clearly it had been cooked and left for someone to pick up but no one did until I inquired as to what had happened to my order).I was comped a soft but shouldn't have been necessary if food had been collected on time.Some of the staff seem to have an attitude unlike other places I stayed at recently, but the rest were friendly and helpful.Breakfast seemed to be always late, but a good selection of things to have.

Loved the free pub/bar games in the huge lobby. Excellent way to kill some time! Rooms were ok, plumbing a little old, but the price was reasonable compared to other Reading hotels.Breakfast was high standard, some interesting and different items as well as standard. GF bread on offer too.
