Absolutely disgusted by lack of tills available. Self service is a nightmare. Two tills open at 10.30am. All self service tills in use. Queues everywhere. Where are the managers? Poor staff were really struggling. Not a nice experience at all.

Good location with adequate free parking spaces and near to petrol stations and macdonalds restaurant. The store is big and neat with clean toilets, sells a variety of household items. There is a small stall for Argos inside where you can order and collect online. The staff are pleasant and busy all the time.

Always very tidy and clean, well stocked and easily laid out. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive either so a reasonable place to shop! The fuel at the garage outside is the cheapest around and so I'm always there!!!

I love Sainsbury's it is quite expensive but it's the best place locally to get decent meat and veg. Struggle to find organic chicken in any surrounding supermarket nowadays. I enjoy Sainsbury's not only as a shop but as a community and an ideology. Also if you're there when they are about to close sometimes you get a little poem announcing their imminent closure, often I'll go there just for this.

Has everything you probably need as supermarkets go. Staff are friendly and helpful. Loses 2 stars because they are constantly moving stuff, which makes it a difficult shop. I feel like they are trying to emulate Tesco's by rearranging the fruit and veg section, which used to be very straightforward and copying their reward points system. Salads/salad vegetables used to be down one aisle, vegetables the next aisle, and fruit the third aisle - very simply. Those aisles have now been broken down into multiple mini subsections, with fruit, veg and salad seemingly randomly distributed between them. It's a nightmare trying to 'nip in' to do a quick shop. Also, point system has changed, and you have to be a member to benefit from a lower (normal) retail price just so that they can collect your data.

Absolutely agree with Maureen b criticism.I was in Sainsbury's this week, store itself was not too busy. However, Queues of 5-6 people waiting to go through cashier operated tills. Queue of 20 people waiting to access the automatic tills. Total failure of service organisation. Everyone complained to a stressed store manager, who seemed to think it was the customers fault that she did not have sufficient staff on duty to open more tills.Add to this that Sainsbury's seem to be incapable of stocking a decent wine selection, marks and Spencer at Bexhill from now on.

Great selection of gluten free products, there were some I hadn't seen before in any of the other supermarkets. It's not in my area, and as I don't drive it was definitely worth a visit despite the bus issues.

Great experience here. Really good range of products, particularly plantbased stuff. Huge store and didnt even bother with some isles but had plenty of space to get around unlike the discounters. Lots of parking close to the entrance. First time I went staffed checkouts were closed and self scan tills took ages with a big shop so used used the scan and go and had a really good experience. Quick and easy and bagged at the end. Will definitely be going regularly even though Tesco in Bexhill is closed to me

Large parking. Spacious and clean sales area.A very large assortment of food and other goods. Clear navigation in the trading floor. Everything is neatly, logically and thematically arranged into departments and shelves.Eastern European and Asian products are available for sale. I needed buckwheat and it was here.Acceptable quality and price. Good shelf life of products.Friendly staff. There are automatic and regular cash registers. The queues are minimal.

APPALLING !!- If there were a Zero star option I’d use it, So ZERO STARSNo care or understanding for the difficulties of the elderly/older or in some cases, disabled customers here.Cashier tills are practically non-existent, sometimes only one available, leading to very long, tiring queues to access them.REASON - to save money by taking job opportunities away from our young people. To force Customers onto DIY checkout tills to do unpaid labour for them instead. At 84 years old, I do not want to be an unpaid Sainsbury’s Cashier. With a trolley full of groceries its hard and tiring enough having to queue for ages, after having walked all the way around the store to shop. Then to access a proper manned Cashier Till, which are purposely located at the very far end of the store, forcing us to walk even further, whilst the DIY Tills are right by the front door. It’s hard for me standing for too long and even more exhausting, loading the conveyor belt, unloading then loading into the trolley again, let alone having to try to navigate/scan a whole trolley full of groceries through a DIY Till. Then on finally leaving the store, being stopped for a Security check to ensure everything in the Trolley has been scanned. I AM NOT A SUPERMARKET CASHIER if you don’t trust those people who can do it, to do the job for you for free, bring in more manned Cashier Tills. In addition, tried calling the Store Tel number to query what 2 PAID FOR items on my receipt were for - NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OPTION - told to 'G0 ONLINE' for a query which cannot be answered by a computer anyway??? Whilst at 84 I can do emails, Computers in general are not an option for me.Home delivery is also not an option due to the additional cost on top of expensive groceries. NOT AN OPTIONElderly/Older people are either IGNORED, as if they simply do not exist or are UNWANTED by Sainsbury’s Supermarkets.ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I will not shop at Sainsbury’s again until they have some respect and care for the elderly/older and disabled customers.
