Wide pedestrian walk along the river. When the tide is low, some amount of beach becomes visible (albeit not accessible), seagulls dozing in the sun. On the left, when walking towards Battersea Power station, newly developed luxury high rise buildings of the Nine Elms area and a somewhat busy road. Along the river, there are stops for the Uber Thamesclipper boat. The Thames is its usual murky beige-brown color, but when you close your eyes and listen to the waves of water lapping against the shore, it is easy to imagine being somewhere at the sea. Much less crowded and relaxing than the touristy Southbank area further east.
