Very friendly service. Cleanlyness very good. The beds are confortable. I was lucky to get a quiet room on the back-side of the hotel, overlooking the fields of gold".The hotel is "Bike-friendly"

Stayed here on a 3-day work trip. Very helpful reception staff, very clean and spacious room and restroom was very nice. TV station selection was limited, so entertainment was not so great. Took a while to work out how to regulate the temperature of the shower unit, but once figured, I enjoyed nice warm showers. Did not eat from the in-house restaurant and bar, so I can't comment. However, on my last night when I was extremely thirsty, I got a free glass of water from the bar - unlike some other hotels that mandate you to buy bottled water from vending machines.

Fabulous hotel, highly recommended. Rooms are awesome and shower is amazing. Very quiet nice location. Staff are polite and friendly. Restaurant is expensive hence 4* instead of 5* but would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Ample parking space for cars and large vehicles

Room in reasonable nick, bathroom needed work.Staff helpful, as far as they can be.Heating low and no working hot water in sub zero weather. If I wanted this experience I'd have gone camping.

Wouldn't accept cash at the bar, everything by card, hence 1 star, have no time for that, won't be staying again. Room ok, breakfast ok, better out there for the money.

The Stones is a great hotel which is very clean and tidy. The staff I think are great, and our check in on the 8th July was quick and simple. We booked for dinner and that’s where it went wrong for us. The starter of potato skins weren’t the best we’ve ever had and for £7.50, not value for money! The linguine my wife and I had was tasty, my wife’s cousin had the pizza, which was average and her husband the rib eye, again good. The young girls left to run the restaurant struggled with basic duties in our opinion, none their fault as my wife and I have about 70 plus years combined in hospitality, with myself having 20 years as an Area Manager for pubs and dining within that 70 years. We may know a bit! We believe that lack of training and any leadership whilst they were on duty, made our experience challenging and the team having to look after us as customers were also challenged! All the above said. We can’t praise Natalia, Jessica or Shaun enough, who despite being on there own. Did the best they could and will be great at the job if they get some proper training and support. In terms of the hotel itself. Clean and tidy, with ample sized rooms. However, our room was very hot and the fan provided, didn’t do anything to cool the room down.Would I stay there again. Yes I probably would.

Go Skydive has just used this venue for a Christmas party, it was fabulous! The service was superb, they couldn't have done enough on the lead up and on the night. My room was clean and well kept, similar standard to a Premier Inn. Breakfast could have been hotter, but great selection. It is close to Salisbury and Stonehenge, so an ideal location if you want to explore.
