My friend and I had a wonderful afternoon tea on Saturday at The Grocer Chef. The standard of the food was absolutely outstanding and the members of staff were all so lovely. I’ve paid much more for afternoon teas in other places but never had such a wonderful selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes.

We sat outside in the sun with a very pleasant drink and cake, the seating was comfortable and the place was very busy, able to cope with a large number of cyclists who arrived while we were there.

Only stopped for a flying visit, nice coffee and chocolate and orange cake, friendly staff, nice location and nice vibe.worth making an afternoon of it and visiting the Ardington Millennium Stones.

Great food friendly staff and great service.The food is really good and this is our favourite place to stop for breakfast when we’re walking our dog. He also loves the ice creamThe outdoor covered seating is brilliant and provides good shelter on a wet dayIf you are in the area pop in it’s great and the staff are all very friendly
