Barclays Bank

Omg. What has happened here? Poor service & long queues. Understaffed long waiting time just to pay cash. There are plenty of ATMs but if you need something special.. get ready.

I've always found the staff in my local branch very helpful and polite. I especially like their meet and greet when you walk in, putting you in the right place for business.

What only one bank in the whole Bournemouth and it shut at 3pm. What's happening..

Slow patronising service. Impossible to open a student account once my course started. Asked for all sorts of extremely difficult to obtain evidence. Despite me having a uni acceptance letter?!

Just when are Barclays going to realise that they cannot go on fobbing off and totally disrespecting their poor ignored customers.Things have got so bad....that they warn you of interminable waiting times.....before you even get there.And when something goes wrong.....you can't speak to a human being....unless you spend half a day travelling to one of the very very few branches still open.....and when you get there ....you are met with total indifference and a 'couldn't care less attiitude'.I wrote a cheque for a large sum of money (Yes, it was my money NOT Barclays), yet they saw fit to question my judgement and 'bounced' the cheque....even though there were sufficient funds in the account to fund the payment 10 times over.Really !!?And I sincerly hope the person responsible for allowing the development and introduction of the more than pathetically useless 'bot' that is meant to sort out simple problems, has been promoted so high in the organisation, that along with others of his ilke, he can do no more damage.I suppose Barclays excuse for the reduction in customer services and manpower, is that they are not making any money ?

Totally rubbish bank, I'll be switching. Their contempt for their customers is only topped by their contempt for their customers' children. Most of the other banks have announced that they won't finance new oil fields in line with IEA and UN recommendations, but Barclays still does and is the biggest funder of ecocide amongst UK banks. The sharklays website gives more info, but basically if you love your kids then change to any other bank xx

Terrible customer service. The worse I have ever come across in a bank. Only one desk open so there was a huge queue going out the door. Inflexible attitude of staff who are slow and incompetent. There is a pressure to use the self-service machines which are not user friendly and frustrating to use which adds to the rubbish customer experience. Whoever is the Manager in this bank needs to be sacked.

Thank you so much Barclays for the beautiful flowers and chocolates that you sent us today it was a big surprise made our day .The lovely lady who tried to sort out my partners problem was fantastic and help all she could thank you Laura .

Avoid this bank or if you can't stay vigilant as they are stealing money. Paid some money in the branch only to be told that I have given the teller £200 less. Asked to recount the money straight away she said she can't it is in the machine. I know for a fact that I had the correct amount in as I counted 3x before going to the bank. Was promised a call back next day no one called me so went in the next day. Was promised by manager Thomas that he personally will call me or email me the next working day. Three weeks later.... Still no call.

Never had staffVery rarely come but always have to always wait for ages !!Lots of people showing people how to use an ATM. No one for actual help if your not using an ATMSort it out Barclays!! Only branch for 20 miles !!!
