I took in some cropped trousers which I needed to be a pair of shorts and they turned out really good and the price was reasonable. I would recommend them for other people to try.

Went here with my elderly nana and mum as she wanted her dress taking in. The woman was so rude I couldn't believe it she was horrible from the get go, and obviously made my nana very uncomfortable. How she can run a business with such an attitude is beyond me. Absolutely disgusting behaviour, I'm shocked!!!!

would not know the meaning of customer service if it smacked them in the face, went into shop to ask for 2 dress alterations, the one member of staff was busy with someone else which was fair enough but she looked at me, did not even smile or say hello I will be with you asap, 5 minutes later she asks how she can help, I explain what alterations I need doing on 2 dresses, I'm told how much, i asked about the opening times & the very rude woman told me I was holding her up ... OMG !!! Customer service at its best ! Absolutely disgusting attitude, if u weren't the manager then you need sacking & if you were the manager then I'm surprised you're still in business if that's how you talk to customers !

Used the company several times because the choice in Lincoln is little. They have a good set up with plenty of room to try on your garment. Some of the ladies are friendly but some are cold and silent. Their work has been very good altering a dress for me and my husband has had jeans shortened, the down side is their prices.

If you like customer service...this isn't your place. If you respect manners and general politeness....you will be disappointed. Any business relies on custom, but you will not get custom if you don't make the sale.For this reason I cannot comment on the quality of work, but I refuse to pay my money to someone so rude. Go elsewhere is my final say.

The worst alteration I have ever had! They absolutely ruined my brand new Ben Sherman Camden fit wool and mohair trousers. The hems are wavy and some of the stitching is missing. When I called in the shop the assistant admitted they weren't right, then when I spoke to the manager on the phone she was rude. Then, when their head office spoke to the assistant she lied and backed up her manager who had done the repair. My advice is to steer well clear of these people if you place any value on your garment. Looks like I will be forced to take them to court to get a replacement pair of trousers...

Very friendly staff that got my wife out of a jam. Needed an evening dress shortening by next day... no problem with fantastic results. Will be using Stitch-Express again.

A great place to get alterations made. I have had countless suit jackets adjusted. Perfect fit each time. Great value

We took a pair of extremely expensive, vintage, velvet-lined, french pleated curtains for alteration. We told the member of staff that we wanted them shortened and they needed to be 7ft each curtain, when extended out. We were charged £150. When we got them home, they were only about 3ft when extended as they hadn’t taken the pleated stitches into consideration. They’ve totally ruined our curtains. Reluctantly they finally agreed to a full refund, but no apology, no compensation and to add insult to injury, when we went to collect our curtains, the same woman said she would have to check with head office to see if she was authorised to give us back OUR curtains. I’m totally disgusted with this company and they’re response when we pointed out their mistake.
