Took my brother and his wife here for Sunday lunch when they were visiting Richmond. Really enjoyed the Sunday roast and friendly service. Kudos to the whole team for a professional service.

We enjoyed the Orkney scallops but probably wouldn't order the seafood soup again. My Halibut main was well cooked, but overshadowed by a great little fish cake on the side. The highlight was the Duck Wellington - flavour was excellent.It was a memorable meal although not a perfect one. It certainly felt that their philosophy was make them wait and they'll appreciate the food more" perhaps?"

Had a delicious Sunday roast here! Staff were very friendly and the terrace upstairs was lovely. Portion size could have been a bit bigger and the tiramisu was more like a sponge cake with cream, but I enjoyed this place!

Lovely pub with spectacular terrace. Did not expect this. However, I'd suggest diversifying the menu a little and printing out the full menu list. As a pub" you'd expect to know what's on offer. It doesn't feel like a pub though

Great tasting British food. Had the Cheese Souffle and Duck Wellington, both dishes rich in flavour and a triumph in taste. Friends had the set menu that they equally enjoyed and is great value. Highly recommend this place.

Celebrated my Fathers 72nd birthday here and it was exceptional. Amazing food, great service and beautiful terrace. Would highly recommend.

This pub in a tiny alley is such a great spot to enjoy Richmond’s sun. We booked it for lunch, and got the chance to sit on the terrace which was really nice and cosy! The service was great, super nice and welcoming. The food was great, especially the chicken liver parfait and the chicken breast. My only “barely” negative comment is the cheese soufflé was tasty but the sauce was a bit too much and liquidy that it almost became like a soup… but it was too much mustard taste for me to drink it as a soup. I would also recommend putting more ice cubes in the gin and tonic on a hot day, so it really cools down the drink :) our gin and tonic just wasn’t cool enough to drink when it was a 30 degree day. But otherwise great spot, I recommend and would come back again!

Returned to this spot after five years. Superb cocktails, delicious seafood pie and perfectly cooked scrumptious rib eye steak. Moorish sticky ginger pudding with chilli pineapple. Excellent service. Will be returning soon!
