St Christopher's Inn | Hostel in Bath

In general every the place is ok for my expectations but there are some points I would like to mention. From my first time in the hostel nobody showed me the facilities, I found the showers and the chill out room dirty, the room is presentable and clean.

Hygiene very bad, staff didn't help with bed availability, lied that all are booked when asked for a lower bed preference, but in the room almost 4 lower bed were empty. Lockers were out of service, so a lot of inconveniences, asked for room cleaning and room fresher, heaters were not working, no one helped with it. Hardly doubt that even sheets are changed daily or not. Staff in untrained as there was no communication between th and everyone said different things about same issue.waste of money and highly disappointed. Staff was only trained to say sorry for everything as no facilities were provided that were mentioned in stay

They advertise having a fridge/ freezer which they do not. They bribe guests for good reviews by offering free shots for a good review. They have signs all over the hostile promoting a free welcome shot, but refused to give them to guests since they were out of tickets

This is not the BEST of St Christopher hostel I have stayed. I would expect a curtain in my bed for minimum privacy. Their live music on weekend just cracks you up at night till 1AM if you sleep because it’s just next room.Staffs, however, are super friendly and nice.

We booked through agoda.We don't usually stay in hostels, but we opted for it because of the location and because it has a single room with a private bathroom.We just needed a place to sleep because we were going to rent a car and spend the days away, so we chose this place.This was what was advertised on agoda, but when we arrived the dispersed attendant put us in a different room and shared bathroom.I don't know who was wrong, the dispersed attendant who even commented and laughed at the guests who arrived, thinking that no one noticed, along with random people (I think other staffs), or the agoda who made a fake announcement.The location is great and even it is a hostel, the room was very clean, pleasant and with amenities, however the advert for now with a photo of a private bathroom is totally fake.We requested the cancellation and went to a hotel.* And I even just checked their profile here and the picture of the private bathroom with bathtub is here too.

Stayed here 21/22 of June 2023. I had a private room and the light kept blinking and the kettle didn't work. I had reported it to reception, but was never fixed during my stay. Great location though.

Would not recommend at all. 11pm is the latest they let you check in. I rocked up at 1am due to delayed flight and transport, which was completely out of my control. The staff were still there when I arrived, and so were able to check me in but refused. As a result, I did not have anywhere to sleep that night.

Average hostel with adequate amenities.Plus side a bar, which can be quite busy.Just needed a bed for the night was sufficient.

Poor service, double charged for stay. Refund still not processed three weeks later.Update. After one month since they said they would pay me, they have stopped responding to my messages and I have yet to receive any money. I have taken the route of chargeback.Avoid this hostel completely, having stayed in hundreds of hostels around the world, this is by far the worst experience yet.
