Alan is a very helpful guy. He knows his stuff and doesn't mess you around. Honest and reliable.I took in a handful of silver and gold jewellery, and he carefully checked everything and gave me a very good price and receipt, he explaining that the jewellery would go to London and be priced then he would recieve payment, then pay me .My payment arrived on exactly the day Alan said it would.Highly recommend Trinity Curios

I wanted to sell some gold jewellery, tried many places and got the best price offer here! I have phoned in advance for an appointment, probably that is the best way if you want to visit the shop for a similar reason. The owner is a very pleasant guy and the shop has a nice ambience.

I have a diary entries dating back to 1815 (authenticated by the national Library) it mentions a whole load of interesting facts such as an execution Charles Dickens attended, watching the coronation procession of Queen Victoria pass by under his window , witnessing a battle involving Napoleon etc.etc. four times I tried to visit this shop without sucess. The fourth time I was simply waved away from inside the locked shop and it was only 11:30 am. Absolutely appauling customer service only surpassed by the even poorer quality of 'tat' displayed in their window. definatley one to avoid at all costs. I only gave it one star because I had to so I could post this feedback !

I just made a 1 hour round trip to Trinity Curios to look for some antique furniture for my new flat, only to be told he didn't want anyone browsing. What a complete waste of time and contrary to what is advertised on the website. Would not recommend this shop. Suspect it may be a front.

Totally reccommend this place to those looking to sell unwanted jewellery.

Anyone expecting this place to be like The Louvre should Google the meaning of the word “Curios”.Visited here last Saturday and enjoyed buying a locally-fired stoneware jug and some attractive cocktail glasses.I almost bought a chair, but I didn’t have room for it in my car.The owner is a decent chap who I found urbane and pleasant. Those of you who have said he is difficult to communicate with ought perhaps to lower your expectations and seek “value” in your interactions, as opposed to monetary reward.Excelsior!

Today 21/12/13 I handed in a box of old jewellery to be valued. On collection once home I found most of my jewellery destroyed, the stones prised out of rings, ruining the claws, and my sovereign mount vandalised beyond use, meaning it can merely be sold for scrap gold, rather than the £100+ it would fetch on its own as a mount. Appalling very upset not so sure of the true value of anything. Just a vandal.

I had a bunch of old Jewellrey I wanted rid off, trinity curios provided a fast and efficient way of selling these items for a very fair price - I was pleasantly surprised at how much my things were worth. I would recommend making an appointment beforehand to avoid disappointment as the shop is not always open.
