To see the views and then have seals frolicing all for free was amazing. Making back home in England expensive

Great car park when the weathers good but be careful of potholes at entrance go real slow if its busy youll have no option other than to go over the holes. The walk to the Ballast Banks is lovely with views over the Firth of Clyde to Arran and the Holy Isle. Go the opposite way towards the beach and the beach Kiosk and its another great walk you can walk straight through to Prestwick beach. The Kiosk on Troon beach is run by a couple of my friends Bill and Fay they're lovely people the Kiosk is very popular for burgers chips tea coffee sweets and of course beach toys like buckets n spades etc it's a little expensive but you are on the esplanade 10 steps and your on the sand, there are also toilets but they charge 30 pence so lift the kids up when you go in theres also mobility toilets but you need your own mobility key but if your stuck the toilet staff will let you in.

Our first port of call for parking in Troon . A lovely walk along the prom and back ,with an ice cream in the middle .

Lovely for a tranquil lunch

Our favourite spot for a walk by the beach or just to sit and watch a sunset

Handy place to park in Troon to walk along shore front,near main street for shops. Kids playpark and putting about 200m from it. Seating areas nearby formtaking in the views.

Quite busy parking place throughout the year. The view over the sea and to the sandy beach is nice.
