I spent hours trawling the internet for the perfect wedding photographer and we were so lucky to find that in Michael.From the moment I first spoke with him on the phone, to our engagement shoot, right through to the wedding day, I felt confident we had made the right decision. He is friendly, easy going and obviously loves and has a great talent for wedding photography. We were adamant that we wanted a really natural set of photos with as little ‘posing’ as possible and this is exactly what we got.We met for a coffee before booking and also at the pre-wedding shoot he did for us. It was lovely getting know him and it meant that we didn’t have to introduce ourselves to a complete stranger on the wedding day.Michael understood on the day that we wanted to enjoy our wedding and not spend hours away from our guests having photos taken and worked so hard to ensure that we missed as little of our day as possible. He ensured we felt comfortable and happy with the photos he was trying to capture. We hardly noticed him being around on the day, even when 9 of us were crammed in to our tiny sitting room whilst we were getting ready, his style of photography is so unobtrusive.When we received our photos a few days ago, we were so delighted, they are absolutely stunning and capture the emotion of the entire day so perfectly. I even shed a few happy tears looking back over them!We are so thankful for dedication and time he showed us throughout the entire process. We really cannot recommend him enough!

I have always hated having my photograph taken. That is, until I met Michael Marker.He is friendly and makes you feel at ease. But more importantly he takes such lovely natural shots which I can't stop looking at. I really can't believe that is me!

My husband and I booked Michael to photopgraph our wedding. From start to finish he was so friendly and we felt completely at ease. The shots he got were incredible and we didn't even realise he was there half the time! He didn't stop all day and put a lot of effort in to ensure he captured the day for us. The photos are truly perfect and have completely exceeded my expectations! It was really lovely to have him as part of our day! Can't recommend enough!

Michael not only did great captures of the person/persons, but the emotions in that frame. When I look back at the photos, I can better re-live those amazing moments, in fantastic detail.The print did take time,but the results are worth the wait. Cannot recommend Michael enough! Every time I look at my wedding photos I relive the day in detail thanks to his amazing ability to capture every last magical moment! Beautiful, natural poses instead of the scripted type, he really caught the love and magic of the day - from the innocence of a child to the fun of the dance! Sorry it's taken me so long to do this!We are so happy we chose Michael for our wedding photographer back in September, I'm not the most comfortable in front of the camera, and Michael really put me at ease, we hardly noticed he was there! He really took on board what we wanted - that we didn't want any 'stuffy wedding photos' where people stand around for hours getting group shots! Yet he still managed to get a couple for the parents without any hassle!The results were just beautiful, so many to choose from and we are so happy with the style and the moments he captured.Thank you so much Michael, we'll need to find another family member for you to photograph next! :)Charlotte & Cameron

I did a half day phone camera course with Michael and within 45 minutes I was taking the kind of photos I thought only other people took!Michael was really patient and just oozed confidence & enthusiasm in his subject - which somehow rubbed off on me. He showed us some great ideas to polish" the photos
