Bought a graphics card online and when it arrived the shroud was very loose/hanging, was obvious why, the plastic got brittle over time, pieces of plastic and screws in the box and the card not looked after or cleaned - full of dust and dirt too. Took it to my local store just 2 hours after delivery (never even installed it in a computer) to hand back, they called Bolton (where it came from) and now trying to argue the toss and deny a refund. Guess it'll be a PayPal dispute then. Had to order another one to replace it. Incompetent and lazy 'in-store testing' - don't waste your time unless it's a cheap item and you can see it in person before purchase.

Took 3 ps4 games into cex to sell the member of staff looks at it for a second there a few scratches i told him the game still works i said to him test it on a console didn't even do it lazy they are sitting there on a computer saying stupid prices for games absolutely scammers.

Staff very helpful in store. Unfortunately after booking console for testing 3 days ago I still haven't recieved my payment or heard from the store that there's any problems with the testing. I was told we would have the voucher via email by the end of day. The customer service contact is a very slow service and there's no phone number to deal with it quicker.

Staff are very courteous but I spent £250 on a PS4 for my grandson at Christmas and it died 6 months later. Because there was a sticker missing i had no recourse. Not happy at all

Worse place ever. I took an xbox One in to trade had been playing it night before absolutely perfect. They run tests and say it broken. They are a joke because I took it back got home with it at 15:00pm today and have been playing on it no problems until 10 mins ago. 02:20am!!!!!!

Joined queue behind two customers and was waiting 10 minutes, no hustle from the staff who all looked miserable to be working there, then was told I had queued on the wrong side and had to move behind two customers who had joined the queue after me, I said that I'd been waiting for 10 minutes and staff didn't care because There were big queuing signs on the floor."They could have said that earlier had they given a care"
