Just what this pub needed. Mike and his team are a fresh of breath air to the place. Great atmosphere play your own music juke box. The wife had the Sunday roast which she said was one of the best she has had in a pub. I had the 5 tapas style nibbles and they were very tasty and great portion sizes. If you haven't tried this place before give it a go, and if you have tried before and wasn't impressed please try again you won't be disappointed.

First time I have had the food in the Horseshoe since it has changed hands but it won't be the last. Food was great and well priced. Good service and nice staff.

Felt unwelcome. It was very quiet yet music was loud; they refused to turn the volume down. Lights went out about 9 o'clock and we felt we needed to leave !

Good beer, excellent food and a welcoming atmosphere.The Horseshoe was refurbished recently and they did a really good job on it. Fortunately, they didn't mess with the beer and this remains one of the best pints of Unicorn around. The food here is just fantastic. Massive portions and cooked perfectly. The lava-stone steaks you sort of cook yourself are fab. The half-roast chicken is the biggest pub meal I think I've ever had but then so is everything else. Sharing nachos are also well worth a try.The staff are all very friendly, as are the more colourful locals (you know who you are) . Whether you want a quite drink in the snug
