Jason, Ian and Oliver are the most friendly and helpful individuals working at Halfords Marsh Mills, Plymouth. Jason helped me set up an account, he is friendly, helpful and patient. Oliver fitted my new battery he is also friendly and informed me what was going to happen and how long it would take. Ian is friendly, approachable and carefully explained what setting up an account entails. He booked my next MOT and service. To be quite honest I have never received such kind and respectful treatment from any staff in other providers in the same way. Well done guys and thank you.

I chased them up after I ordered and paid for a battery for my wife’s car. When I went down the order had been cancelled without tell me and I had to pay for it again. I’m still waiting for first payment to transferee back to me. The sales assistant was helpful and told me she would look into this. I’m disgusted they cancel their customers orders without tell them -Beware!!!

Very, very disappointed in Halfords. Last we I gave an outstanding review of the store, but not today. I ordered expensive roof bars for my Glof Plus to enable me to attach a Thule top box - purchased in the past from Halfords.When I arrived to collect them and have them fitted, on a Saturday two days before I needed to travel my son's wedding in Norfolk, I was told the wrong roof bars had been delivered to the store and in fact there now appeared to be no roof bars which fitted my Golf Plus available!While I will attach no fault to the Assistant who dealt with me, I feel very aggrieved at a Halfords in-house computer ordering system that enabled an order to be put through against my vehicle registration number that was quite clearly incorrect.It has caused me significant inconvenience and a total reappraisal of what I was able to take with me. Not an experience I wish to repeat and one which make me extremely cautious about buying anything else from Halfords that is not immediately visible on the shelves.I also still await a refund into my bank account although it was actioned by your Assistant immediately at the time.Not good Halfords, your reputation suggest you should have done better!!

I visited the Marsh Mills store today for a new battery and fitting.From start to finish I was looked after by Kieran who was superb.. He took the time to answer all of our questions and help us find what we needed . The technician did a great job too and all the staff were very helpful and amenable. I would highly recommend this service.

Fitting of cam was good. I would have appreciated a couple of minutes spent giving me some info on the use of the cam. I’ve had it in for a few days and I am still waiting for a friend to show me how to use it.

Two kids bikes purchased.Paid for halfords to build the bikes and for the addition of stabilisers to both.Arrived at the agreed collection time to find neither bike had stabilisers fitted.I was then told an adaptation unit for the stabilisers would need to be purchased for each bike at extra cost.No one seemed to know how to fit the stabilisers. After a VERY LONG wait - 1.5hours after our arrival the bikes were finally ready.Bikes are situated on the top floor and my older mother in law who had to collect by this time was afforded no assistance in carrying these bikes down two flights of reasonable steep stairs.Overall staff were friendly but useless in terms of customer service.

Drive 20 miles for bike check and to have a technician look at it only to find out that no technicians were working on that Sunday and I would have to bring it back at the next earliest appointment which is on 20 Sep do a complete waste of a journey. The young man who served me didn’t seem to have much of a clue about anything and the young lady certainly didn’t. I don’t blame them, I blame the management who think it’s fine to leave them in charge when it’s clear to see it’s not. A very big waste of my time and fuel also. It should be made clear when technicians are in. The lad said sometimes they may pop in for an hour or two at the weekend. This isn’t helpful in understanding the system or when they are meant to be available.

Very good experience visiting Halfords last minute due to a light out in our full beams.Charley was very friendly in her approach at the till and helped inform me of the procedure with the free check over and then the light being fitted. Flo and Adam were great in getting the awkward headlight out and fitting it back together perfectly. They were very knowledgeable and helpful with other queries around the car too.The staff members add great value to Halfords and should receive good praise for their friendliness, professionalism and good attitude!

Bought new brake light bulbs. The young lady who served me in store was helpful enough. The bulb was installed quickly and efficiently.
