A remarkable place to buy antique and unique books on virtually any topic from an enormous stock. The owner is eccentric and very knowledgeable so be ready for good conversation too!

Brilliant little gem! There is a great and varied selection of second-hand books. The range is exceptional with a huge selection of fiction, children's, science, political, history (etc.) books. The owner is very friendly, informative, and up for a debate. I am thrilled with my books and just want to say thank you for making my day!

Well worth a visit if you live in the locality or are visiting. A large selection of second-hand books. Includes good Welsh language stock and books on the history of the Slate Industry. A good place to go if you need some old books repaired or re-bound. He does a very good job of this. And for free you can have a sturdy political debate or buy from his excellent selection of Left-Wing books.I bought a copy of his own excellent 2012 edition of Slate Quarrying by Morgan Richards (circa 1865). Go there and have an experience.

A wonderfully stocked book warehouse (I can't think of a better term).With a seemingly never ending array of books covering almost every subject.I'd certainly recommend a visit if you are in any way interested in reading and collecting children's fiction with a wide range available.Make sure you have a pocket full of cash though, this is not the type of place that you can use contact less payments!It's nicely hidden away in the centre of a small industrial centre, so when Google Maps takes you up the slate lined road, don't worry, it's the right place. Just park up and walk around the corner.
