Phoenix Pre-school

So, as my eldest son leaves his pre-school I felt it was well worth a recommendationMy youngest has another 2 years there which makes today a little easier. This is just a fabulous place, a bit of a hidden gem. Phoenix Pre-School in Leigh follows the 'Forest Schooling' method of education. This means it is child lead play with the primary focus being on teaching children to be resourceful, confident and resilient. And boy does it work! They have turned my boisterous 3 year old into a caring, confident, friendly 4 year old.A small setting (they only have 20 children) they spend Fridays in Belfairs woods making dens, collecting sticks and other great activities. They bake cakes, use sticky back plastic and create dens as a team with blankets and chairs.Apparently infant and primary schools in the area can spot the children that have been to Phoenix as they are confident, engaging and outgoing.Quite simple the best decision we have ever made and the care the boys received under their guidance has shaped our family dynamics forever.
