Bad customer service. Today I was there and I brought my own bag with me to the store . One guy working there approached me and asked me to take a basket while i do not need one since i brought my own bag and i just had two thing to buy : Wispa chocolate bar and philadelphia cheese. Everyone there was shopping using his bag even though they had more stuff than me and no body ask them to take a basket , why did he asked me to take one? The only explanation is that he might be suspicious that I was going to take something without paying which is really disrespectful and annoying to make the customer not feel trusted!!!!

Friendly helpful staff.Good range considering it's a convenience store of baked goods, fresh food, dead animals and store cupboard stuff.Prices are about what you might expect.Good bargains when the baked goods are being reduced to clear =).

Good range of produce, friendly staff, good offers, wide enough aisles for wheelchair - however the top shelves are difficult to get to from a chair. Don't bother going Tues morning when they change over for new offers as the shelves are empty.

This shop is useless.customer service is zero.with long queues and very lfew lights on, close it down if that's the best the coop can do, if I could score this store no stars I would have.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent range of fresh food for a local store and a very good selection of wines. The beer selection could be a little more comprehensive though. Good incentive scheme for student discounts...

Lovely Coop in the heart of Crookes. Not always stocked with the more obscure foodstuffs but for everyday items it is spot on. Offers price parity with the Sainsburys next door on most things, but not milk. Has an excellent loyalty card, but not great on the gluten free range. Doesn't have a bakery or a toilet, but currently offers stupendous deals on their 'things for a fiver' deal which quite frankly is the best loss-leader since Tesco started selling beans for 5p back in the 90's. This is my go-to grocery shop. Written loads to get more Google points. Ultimately it is just a shop, but the staff are nice.

The store itself is nice and well maintained (it was recently renovated from a truly terrible state). Sadly the fact that a Sainsburys is just next door allows a direct comparison.It's not open as late and closes early on a Sunday. It's got the same problem with a low number of spaces for on street parking. The veg is often not fresh and the price of all of it's products is more expensive and not discernably of a better quality.

I have just used the store based delivery service, having received a letterbox leaflet about it yesterday. It really was delivery within 2 hours! Even managed to arrive slightly ahead of time, with my 4 bag, £30 of shopping. We had been advised of our need to self isolate this morning. A really brilliant service, thank you.

Great little local store for the Crookes community. Well laid out for COVID safety measures and easy to find whatever you need. Staff are attentive and always eager to help.
