We took our boy Marley in Wednesday as he suddenly took a very bad turn. It wasn’t the outcome we expected or ever wanted and had to leave without him, but the vet Katherine Phillips made everything much easier and we couldn’t have had asked for a kinder or more patient vet, for Marley to have his last moments with and we really appreciate it. AVOID THIS PLACE….I was just there (21/3/23) and on call vet needs to be struck off. We brought our German shepherd in as he was having trouble lying down. We knew there was no broken bones or cuts, and must have been a painful sprain. The vet did his checks and administered 2 pain relief injections. We have just checked one of the injections given and it was a sedative used for post op. He prescribed a drowsy effect pain killer to be take upon our return home.To our horror, our dog had passed out in the car, unresponsive to calls, dilated pupils and extreme saliva (this is a very well train dog that follows every command, and rarely dribbles). Upon getting him out of the vehicle eventually by carrying, he made multiple explosive excrements (he has perfectly firm stool due to a controlled diet with all necessary supplements).We are still waiting for the effects of the pain killers to wear off (3 hours later)I have no issues paying good money, but the vets on call need to be prescribing the right medication, as well as advising us of the possible issues we may face. He literally shoved the 2 injections, charged his bill and said good bye.I would like the management team to take action and remove your on call vet “Ovidiu Florincas”. He is a menance, and probably will open you up to multiple lawsuits.You will be hearing from my solicitor if appropriate action is not taken against the vet in question and adequate procedure updates to inform your customers of the steps, and side effects post treatment/consultation.

I took my cat here after hours because it appeared he had ingested something poisonous and was foaming at the mouth. They took my cat in straight away then began taking my details. After taking my details she gave me a bill of £1600 (at this point they only sedated my cat and inserted a tube) I queried as to why it was so high and that I could not afford it. I paid a £300 deposit. Before querying the bill they advised me that the cat is breathing normal and that they are just trying to remove the blood from his passage.After expressing that I would not be able to afford £1600 I get a call to say my beautiful Persian had died. My instincts tell me they didn’t bother trying to save my cat because it meant they wouldn’t make maximum profits. After calling to say my cat had died she told me I had to go in and settle the bill. I am heartbroken and would strongly advise avoiding this place as much as you can.

Highly recommend the surgery, had the best experience and the most professional approach. I brought my dog after hours for induced vomit after he accidentally ate some grapes. It took only 15 minutes for him to come out and he was on his best form by the morning. I am forever grateful for their expert treatment.

We were referred to Mandeville for specialist eye care for my 8 year-old dog. Dr. Sally Turner is a true national expert in this field and offered patient, careful diagnosis and care for our boy. She communicated thoroughly with our GP vet, offering photos and notes so we could track his progress after a debridement." She's a true educator too

Once again today we had an excellent experience bringing our cat for review. Since our cat was referred, whilst she was in hospital and the care she has received since could not have been better.Thank you to Phoebe and all staff.

My beloved Teddy was with Goddard for nearly 5 yrs, I trusted these unprofessionals .In the last two months I took my baby there so many times to get her checked and paid nearly £500 on just one occasion for blood tests !On 19/09/23 you done blood tests again with scan which referring back to your results showed all came normal. (Paid another one thousand three hundred )In these yrs they did not diagnose my dog (which the post mortem has confirmed that she had CHRONIC HEART CONDITION)On 19/09/23 we took Teddy in at night because she was whimpering and crying they said they will check her entirely, we left Teddy there at night after 2 hours they called and said my dog has passed away.PLS AVOID AT ALLL COSTS DO NOT BRING YOIR FUR BABIES TO ANY OF THE GODDARD BRANCHES HOW DID THEY NOT PICK UP MY DOGS HEART CONDITION I HAVE GOTTEN THREE OTHER VET OPINIONS AND ALL HAVE SAID THAT THIS WAS NOTHING NEW AND COULD HAVE NOT BEEN MISSED !!DR KRYSTYNA ZAYTSEVA SHAME ON YOU . I brought my dog you checked and said her heart is fine although we told you clearly that she is breathless and panting and crying in pain!!!!!!!How could you guys miss something this important !

OUR beautiful white angel passed away at this hospital! PLS AVOID THIS VET AT ALL COSTS , THEY CANT DIAGNOSE PROPERLY EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND IGNORANT. IF YOU WANT TO LOSE YOUR PETS BRING THEM HERE!IF ANYONE CARES FOR THEIR PETS THEY WILL NEVER USE GODDARD!AFTER MY DOG PASSED AWAY THEY SAID THERE IS NO EXPLANATION!! I would strongly recommend you don't bring your pet to this hospital". I took my cat in 4 times and despite them knowing he had a history of kidney problems they were unable to diagnose that his kidneys were failing until the final visit when he had to be put to sleep.
