Would highly recommend J Lawrence & Son's. They showed such kindness and compassion from start to finish. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It was the send off my dad would have loved and deserved.

I would never use or recommend this funeral directors, the attitude of members of staff is utterly appalling especially after a sudden death of a loved one. Not saying this is all down to them, but not being told vital information and information being withheld.. down to whether the person is even in the chapel of rest to visit and then when they were allowed to disclose that information I took my little boy, little sister my mum and auntie to see their mum/ nan and great nan (my little boy was around a month old and had never got the chance to meet her) we was never warned the state or condition of her body and walked into a sight that no one should of seen and I am so glad I went in without my son and my little sister didn’t see how bad her body was decomposed… this is now an image I have to live with and all those precious memories I had are tarnished by that.To then beg the lady to have her coffin sealed to give my Nan some dignity and so that no other family member needed to see her in that state, have the member of staff laugh and smirk in my face.Today I had called because of a family dispute information isn’t being shared with us. To find out my Nan was cremated in November and her ashes are in limbo, Mother’s Day approached and I had to contact the crematorium to find out they had been collected by the funeral directors who now won’t tell me if they are still with them or not is just disgusting the last piece of dignity being taken away.The behaviour and attitude by certain staff members especially has made this experience something I would never wish for anyone.

Thank you for all your help regarding my father's funeral on 6th July 2022. I appreciate the extra mile that you went and accommodated my disabled mother by going to her house to organise the funeral and again to take forms to her for signing. We all appreciate it very much and made the arrangements for the funeral less stressful. Thank you.Elspeth Garner

J lawrence & sons were amazing at my grandads funeral everything was perfect and john went over board. Even the jazz band they arranged was out of this world i would recommend these guys to anyone
