Lessons can be quite helpful and informative, depending which staff member you get. Overall, I ended up leaving as the place didn’t feel that welcoming or friendly. Lessons often felt rushed or cut short. Decent price. However, there is cheaper and more Welcoming alternatives.

Fantastic yard, very well run, competitions and clinics run most weekends, very good atmosphere, relaxed and friendly.Very sympathetic to all levels of riding and a great source of learning.Highly recommended

This could be a great venue as the location is good for us with not being too far away. However it does need to look at how a warm up and competition arena and a busy livery yard can work together, without the noise and disruption from horses being led in and out passed the main arena, by inconsiderate teenagers and the impact it can have and a competitor riding their test.

Brilliant yard with fantastic facilities. The owners are amazing and friendly - not one person there would harm the horses, they put them first and ensure the care they receive is 5*Would recommend this place to many people of any age and experience as the staff are always happy to help with anything required.

Very friendly, lovely welcoming atmosphere, my pony is brilliantly looked after. Cannot fault them.There are a number of bad reviews on here. These all relate to Elms Farm's previous owners. All I can say is these should be removed because they do not reflect the place as it is now (Feb 2016). Keep up the good work Amy and Tom!

I've kept my horses at Elms for nearly 4 years now. I can honestly say that the care my horses have received has been excellent. There is a comment below about turn over of staff and livery spaces. In the time i have been here, there has always been a waiting list for stables and the apprentices that successfully complete their qualifications, have remained in post. The staff are friendly and very responsive to people's needs. Unfortunately, horses being horses, some things don't always go to plan and a minority of people place unrealistic expectations on people and treat the staff very unfairly, which is very unjust, considering how hard they work and how dedicated they are.I can see many more happy years at this yard, with the endless competitions and clinics, you would be hard pressed to find a yard like this for miles around. Well done Elms team, keep up the great work!!!
