Williams Bodyshop Manchester

Put my car in to be assessed for a potential repair. It wasn't great that I had to chase for the quote to be sent to my insurance company especially when they agreed to send the quote within 48 hours. Nonetheless, it got sent eventually and to my surprise, the quote was absolutely laughable. I understand the damage was significant, but there is simply no justification for the quote to be at least 10 times more than the quote from a local garage who will be doing the same repair. The insurance company approved the work. Again, no update and I had to constantly chase. The car was ready for pickup but guess what? It was damaged whilst parked in their yard ready for pickup. Aside from the daft question from one of the staff, checking if that damage was there in the first place when I initially dropped it off, they had to keep the car for another 48 hours to fix that mess. Picked the car up and it looks like one of the car panels wasn't properly fitted, which resulted in me hearing a whistle noise whilst diving. Took it back and they fixed the issue and I finally have my car back.There were other issues I'd rather not mention with the body shop. The unfortunate thing is I just expected a lot more from one of the subsidiaries of this so called reputable company. Would I use them again? Extremely unlikely! I do not believe they are professional enough considering the sort of cars they are working with.

Did a first class paint chip repair to our M2CS. The car is new and an edition of 100 in the UK so it was important to get it right. Customer service epic, price fair and communication was excellent. Thoroughly recommended. Thanks a million Lee, Mike, Kash and the technicians.

The mechanics did a great job of re-aligning the tail gate on my Jag XF sportbrake & washed it too!

Very poor customer service. Waste of time. Waiting for a quote for work for a week. No responses to my emails, no one ever picks up calls there. Will not consider to buy BMW again. Comparing to excellent Audi customer service, BMW has a lot to learn....

My car went into Williams after I had been in an accident and they were great. However, they really shone through when my car was deemed a total loss and my insurance were not at all helpful. Kashaf at BMW was amazing and went above and beyond to keep us in one of their vehicles for an extra few weeks on their insurance. Ewen was also brilliant and really looked after us. Both of them are great examples of individuals who have went the extra mile. Thank you to both of them for all their help. I would not hesitate in using Williams body shop again or recommending them.

It took 4 weeks between them and my insurance company (Allianz) to arrange for my car to even be assessed. A week or so later it eventually went in to be fixed but they didn't start work on it for another 2 weeks. I would avoid in future.

The brilliant staff at both the Trafford Park and Hadfield Street Trafford sites act promptly and efficiently whatever the issue. They have been my number one choice to work on my BMW's and my Land Rover cars for more than 25 years.I would recommend them without reservation.

Car was sent to Williams by insurance. Declared as a total loss and was advised by insurance rep that I can pick it up. I called before leaving home to ask if I am okay to collect the vehicle. When I arrived and informed the man at the counter I was here to collect my vehicle he said that authorisation was not sent from insurance to release the vehicle. I said to him the email was sent and I called before coming and another person from this garage said I can come and collect. He didn't check for an email and proceeded to look me blank in the face. Then after a long pause he said, the other guy will here soon you can wait over there. When the other guy came and was asked about the car he said yes the email was received and its in the job folder and the vehicle can be released. A simple check of the job folder and the man actually doing his job properly would've avoided this whole incident but it seems professionalism at Williams body shop doesn't exist.

Massively overpriced garage. I damaged both my own and a third parties wing mirror. I got my own repaired and the total cost including labour was £330, and the third party chose this garage to get his repair done, and the same work cost £760. If you’re thinking of using them, don’t, unless you want to pay over the odds. The guy sending me the quote was utterly useless as well.
