I had a telephone chat with Donna about how I can manage my alopecia. I knew immediately that she understood my challenges and her empathy gave me the confidence to book an appointment. Donna and her colleague were superb. Donna knew about alopecia and was able to advise me and suggest solutions for the future. I felt welcomed, supported and understood. A successful appointment. Having recently lost my hair due to chemotherapy treatment, I went to Wiggins to see about a wig.We were looked after by Karen, who was extremely helpful, kind and sensitive. In fact I was so delighted with the wig that Karen had suggested, I left the shop wearing it!I cannot praise Karen enough, she was very reassuring at an anxious time making me feel very much at ease and so much more confident.Would highly recommend this shop!Thank you so much

Friendly, welcoming ladies who made my wife feel at ease from the start. Great advice and service with nothing being too much trouble. The support group was absolutely brilliant with the opportunity to meet others going through the same treatment. The ladies of Wiggins did a wonderful job of allowing everyone to share their experiences which made my wife feel she is not alone. Would recommend highly.

Had appointment with Donna after easy booking with very short notice and choosing wig online)losing hair due to chemo ) was a very reassuring experience Donna was so helpful with stying trimming and fitting of wig and trimmed what’s left of my own hair making it so much better for me , all in a private room , explained all the wig care and then I had a look round and got some great turbans and products to buy for a great price with absolutely no pressure to buy , I had to ask to look at them , Donna made a very anxious visit to a truly fabulous one thank you x

Thank you is no where near enough. I went there today feeling very anxious and worried at what the ladies would think of me and if they would listen. Iv never felt so at ease valued and cared for. I felt like I was important and my needs where more than met. So kind so helpful and knowledgeable. Not pushing for a sale and I came away feeling very happy with my new wig. Thank you so so much. Wonderful! Left in tears (happy tears)After 5 years of on:off chemotherapy and drugs I’ve tried many wig shops both in person and online but never before have I felt listened to, never before have the staff shown any empathy, never before have they been able to cut into wigs to create a fringe and never before have I left anywhere feeling like a million dollars.Initially I met with Adele who had nothing suitable but ordered in various wigs for me to try.On my return I met with Donna who single handed my made me feel special and like a million dollars. She was so kind. I instantly liked one wig that has arrived but it didn’t have a fringe, she explained her background, that she could cut a fringe in to my liking and layer the sides for me. She showed me how she would do it and at the point I told her to go for it.She listened carefully to what I liked, did the fringe in stages so it wasn’t too fine or too heavy, and wasn’t too long or short.She then steamed it so it settled back down whilst offering lots of advice.We discussed my little hair growth and patches of alopecia. She trimmed my hair for me and made me feel a million dollars.Then we put the now newly trimmed wig back on and I cried happy tears. For the first time in five years I had a wig that made me smile rather than one that will do or is just ok.I’ve already asked Donna to order me another.Before leaving she also explained the washing and steam cleaning service they offer for wigs.What wonderful staff and services you offer. Donna don’t ever underestimate the difference you make to people lives - today you have changed mine for the better for which I am truly thankful.Highly recommended

Caron really made me feel so welcome and looked after and really went out of her way to make sure I was happy. There wasn't a hint of pushiness, just warmth and wanting to find the right fit and style for me. The atmosphere in the shop is positive and I'd definitely recommend booking in if you're considering it
