Almost impossible to contact on the phone. This morning I have been listening for 20 minutes to what some people would call music. I finally gave up. I have no complaints when, when I have finally managed to see or contact a doctor.

It can be a bit frustrating having to wait on the phone, in the end I always get through. The admin service is good and the service from the nurses, clinicians and doctors is excellent. I have been with this practice for nearly a year and in that time have found a high standard of care.

Works when you actually get seen but that is difficult! Docs and nurses are good but often when you call they are over subscribed and have a rule about having to call at 8:30am on the dot for an appointment. Not always possible if you’ve been up all night unwell. Then when you do call, they are often all booked up.Ideally this area needs a bigger practice or another practice to service growing demand as more houses are built almost weekly.

Last Thursday I was seen by the practice nurse and one of her colleagues (I was not an easy patient!).Both were very pleasant and professional.

Been a patient here for 15 years +, used E-consult a few times on line, for advice or appointment, surgery always gets in touch within 24hrs, either makes an appointment if needed or gives advice.. all clinicians are very approachable and helpful. Prescriptions can be ordered on line also, very convenient.

Absolutely great. In recent times we have had 'seemingly ' urgent need. Phoned in (after long wait on phone) and seen same day. Today I phoned in with a suspicious problem and seen straightaway! A GOOD TEAM WORKING UNDER EXTREME PRESSURE

Having been a patient for 51 years it saddens me to see this once great gp surgery reduced to it's current state.Phones go unanswered, gp write prescriptions which are then cancelled repeatedly, appointments are few and far between.As of 20/11/2023 only urgent medical care is to be undertaken by the practice, this means that HGV medicals, scuba diving medicals, driving licence renewals, etc are no longer allowed by the management, the reason being lack of staff. The 3 or 4 who told me this at reception did not see any irony.Treatment received may have fallen below an acceptable standard but the management are unconcerned.

Awful practice , not the telephone / desk staff, the service from 'some' doctors. Was examined in May and told i'd be referred for a knee scan, have just been to hospital 6 months later to be told no

This surgery might be OK if you can get to see a doctor, but if you've just moved to the area find somewhere else.You can't book appointments in advance at all.There are never any available appointments to book online.The only way to get an appointment is to phone at 8am and ask for one the same day.If you do phone at 8am, the phone might ring for an hour or two, or you might get cut off, but nobody answers.If it's your lucky day then eventually someone might pick up. But there's no point, because then they'll tell you all the appointments have been booked up and to call back tomorrow.If you call the next day exactly the same will happen.As the other reviews say, it's an absolute shambles in reception, and it's been the same for years.
