Can’t praise this dance academy enough, the teaching staff are just amazing and so passionate within their specialisms. My Granddaughter’s confidence and ability has grown so much since joining the academy and best of all, she thoroughly enjoys every moment there!

Moved my daughter here a year ago and the progression has been incredible. Professional and technical training in all aspects of performing arts. Outstanding drive and commitment from all involved. If you want the best this is the place to be!

Amazing school, amazing staff, amazing facilities! Our daughter has been with Miss Angie since aged 2, and has received the highest levels of training possible! She's achieved great things in dance, from performing with the Royal Ballet Company at the ROH aged just 10, won too many competitions to mention, including national level, and has now at age 15, won a full scholarship for vocational dance training at Tring Park School for the aperforming Arts. One of only 10 places available internationally! But without Miss Angie's & the other staff's fantastic training, and incredible support, there is no way she could have achieved these levels of skill! I can say from now 13 years experience, that we could not have been happier with Steppin' Out, and whole heartedly recommend them! If you want your child to follow their dream of entering the world of the Performing Arts, then just TRUST Angie's training, approach & discipline, and you won't go wrong!!! The annual shows are also incredible! The production standards are mind blowing, and the talent on show will leave you spellbound!!!

Steppin' Out Academy Stepping Out Hamworth Iuliana Joly Roxana PopaVery disappointed about what happened today at Poole Branch. I witnessed an incident that terrified my children and myself. Mrs. Angela It has no justification to yell at a mother in front of her child. Her behavior is beneath criticism. Because of this incident, that could happen to anyone I will withdraw both of my children from SteppinOut Academy – POOLE Branch. Also, it is unacceptable that the lady from the Reception yelling at a two years old little boy in front of his mother for a minor mistake.

My two sons (aged 8 and 11) have been attending classes at Steppin Out Academy since 2019. They take part in multiple genres of classes and also take part in their shows, compete in competitions, attend workshops plus participate in their Summer Intensive programme. When they started, they both enjoyed a small bit of dance and wanted to try to experience as much as possible. Steppin Out ignited a passion in them both which has taken their hobby and turned it into a way of life. The academy is a friendly environment which promotes good behaviour and a great place to learn and also to make likeminded friends. The boys were welcomed in with open arms and are surrounded by positive role models in the older children. If you want opportunities in dance or theatre then this is the place to go. The teachers are happy supporting the children with dance as a hobby or also helping push them to progress to a higher level if they want to take it further. It is an academy that truly tries to nurture the individual. With their support, Steppin Out has opened up so many doors of opportunities for my boys. In fact this year, both boys have been cast in a professional musical UK tour. Something we only imagined would happen in dreams before joining the academy. I always assumed you needed to live in London or attend a permanent performing arts school to achieve something like that, but at Steppin Out, the teachers believe you can achieve anything-and you truly can. It is an exceptional and inspirational academy.

Fantastic opportunities, incredible standard of teaching. Studios are immaculate, and the plushest set up.Our two daughters have been here for 4+ years and have excelled, achieving insane examination results. But also giving them confidence to be the best they can be, believing in themselves.The shows are phenomenal- competitive dance comps and inspiring children to follow their dreams of going into professional performance.Cannot recommend highly enough

This is an amazing Dance school. I have been a part of this school for nearly 10 years now with my daughter who started at the age of 4, she is now 14. Angela Taylor the principle of the school is an amazing teacher and cares very deeply about each and every child ensuring that they reach their full potential, whatever it may be. My daughter loves being in the shows each year but equally enjoys the classes and the exams. Steppin' Out is like my extended family and I would not hesitate in recommending this dance school.

Today was my 3rd year of being invited by the director of the school Angela Taylor, to teach on Steppin’ Out Academy Summer Intensive and truly it always a joy.The level of training is at the level of excellence and all the staff at the school should be so proud of the tools, that they are handing down to the next generation of young performers. I appreciate that the students are built from the ground up in all technical foundations, this is so evident as it gives the students the confidence to work with guest teachers and try steps that might be just outside of their comfort zone. It’s also nice to see the importance of musicality and artistry within the school, because dance is much more than technique.Lastly, the school creates an environment of performers that want to be there and are hungry to learn. All students were focused and have impeccable manners. Fantastic dance and performance school, my daughter has danced for years with them and has grown in confidence, skills and in performance. She's had the opportunity to compete nationally, take part in their fabulous shows as well as making wonderful friendships who I'm sure will be lifelong friends. My grand daughter goes to this dancing school, and I have nothing but praise for the whole set-up. My grand daughter has blossomed under their tutelage, she has recently been in national competitions gaining first place in two solos, and another first in a group dance. All this at only eleven years of age. Dancing is her life and under Steppin' Out's guidance I am confident she will progress and do well in the future.
