County Care Berkshire Ltd

I just started using the County Care service over the last few weeks for my 90 year old mother, mainly for companionship but I know there are lots of other services. We have started with 2/3 visits per week and so far it has been money really well spent.My mother is now far more cheerful and positive about life in general and it gives her something to look forward to and talk about.I would highly recommend County Care for your loved ones. All the carers are just lovely and it has given me peace of mind on the days that I cannot visit my mother.Look no further as they really are Top Notch!

Don't even bother with this company, everything is a tick box exercise for them and purely for monetary purposes. They couldn't care less about their clients so if you're seeking care for a family member, I would simply avoid. You would be leaving them at death's door.

We first started using the services of County Care for my elderly Mum in 2018 and have always found them to be professional, caring and kind.The team show compassion and have also responded very quickly, in particular when we have needed to reinstate Mum’s care calls at last minute on her discharge from hospital. They are contactable 24 hours a day and will go out of their way to listen to her needs, ensuring they put in place any requests that we have.Having County Care provide such wonderful support for my Mum not only enables her to maintain the independence that she needs, but it has also taken a huge amount of pressure off myself.

Have just started with this company and am finding it a real hit and miss affair. The carers are very good, but the service provided by the company is little short of shocking. We have two carers booked and on occasions one has arrived and managed alone, but they advised us that we will still be charged for two. At £36 per person for bank holidays, this is outrageous. They've also advised that we can cancel a visit with 24hours notice, however they only operate a 9 - 5 weekday phone; the 24 hour number given is an answerphone. Very disappointing to say the least.Having posted the above at Easter, I'm pleased to say that the company made contact after the holiday to request further information on my review. The owner of the company went to visit the couple in question and ironed out any issues and everyone is now happy.

Prior to this year I was an occasional user of County Care services, I employed carers privately and County Care would willingly step-in on an ad-hoc basis covering holiday, sick leave etc, their carers always filled the brief. As such, when one of my private carers left her position earlier this year I decided to engage County Care on a permanent basis rather than employ a new private carer. Carolyn, has organised a great team of carers who competently support me in all aspects of daily living, from personal care to assisting with household chores, they are always friendly, respectful and engaging. It is obvious that County Care provide the correct level of training as the standard of care provided is very high, I would not use County Care if I did not feel confident of their ability to manage my needs. I am very happy to recommend their services!

Can't recommend County Care enough for a professional, empathetic, reliable and positive service in caring for my father. Staff are thoughtful and considerate of changing needs and even think to bring a newspaper and pint of milk! It's a great peace of mind for me to know they are there. Thanks County Care

County Care staff were employed to help my son access a local day centre on a weekly basis. We had a tricky start, but this was rectified immediately and every effort was made to ensure my son did not miss out on any activities. The three carers that worked with my son were fantastic. They really cared for him and treated him with respect and dignity. They made sure he was able to join in with all activities. Would highly recommend County Care to anyone.

They have always provided a reliable and caring service.
