Visited this cafe which is situated inside a Nursery that had a Christmas Market inside. The breakfast was amazing with locally farmed produce and you could definitely taste the difference. The staff were very friendly and service was quick and by the looks of things, a very popular place by the locals as people had actually reserved tables. All round great experience whilst visiting the area

We had an afternoon tea. Staff were lovely and the food was delicious! Very reasonably priced too. We had a lovely time, would go again and would recommend!

Absolutely fantastic breakfast! And a gorgeous atmosphere, me and my partner went for the farmers wife breakfast each, and thoroughly enjoyed it, the sausages were unreal along with the poached eggs however the bacon was a little on the dry sideNot much could be improved on other than I felt it was a little understaffed

Usually a good experience but came today with our two young grandchildren and had an awful experience with dried up cake and no cookies for the children. Only had takeaway cups as too busy to offer usual cups. If they can’t cope with the volumes they should have so many tables. Very disappointing.

Homemade, semi-rustic food that exceeded our expectations. It makes sense, seeing as the garden centre that envelopes the cafe is a very nice one.The bubble and squeak gets a special mention, as does the cheese scone. The pancakes were lacking in more ways than just the portion size, but there was still some charm in its sloppy presentation. It's run by a kind, accommodating team.

Lovely place. Its already in my favourite place to go place. Food is good portion size and lovely atmosphere. They have kids corner. My little one was super busy playing and I had my breakfast in peace.

Came here on a sunday for breakfast, the place was very busy. Would advise booking but I was lucky and was shown to a table with no reservation. I then sat looking at the menu for a good 10 minutes before anyone came. Not a big problem as I was in no rush. So a polite staff member came and took my drink order. I ordered an americano coffee. This came fairly quickly and was good. So now the wait began for them to come and take my food order. I was nearing the end of my coffee when I was finally asked if I would like to order food. So finally nearly an hour after i first walked in my food arrived. I was asked for choice of sauce and off they went. The breakfast was well presented and good quality produce used. However… although it was very tasty, it was not the hottest, the hash browns being the warmest thing on the cold plate. Sadly my sauce never arrived. After finishing my breakfast, I decided to go up and pay as did not feel like waiting any longer to ask for the bill.Summing up, The breakfast is very good and the service was also good, I guess they was just very busy. I never like to review negatively, tending to just state the facts. I would recommend this place though as its a very nice busy place and the quality of the food is good.Hope this review helps. I think the wait times was probably down to the shear amount of people there on a Sunday morning. The staff work hard and this is in no way a bad review of the place.

A very nice place to eat. Good quality food, but slightly expensive. My only criticism was that my fried eggs were a bit snotty. I could have asked for them to be done again, but I didn't, so that is down to me. Will go again, and next time ask for my eggs to be flipped over.

Manager or person in charge was extremely rude.Group of 6 cyclists got there at 9:30am in a Sunday. Just one table was taken and the first he asked was if we got a reservation. We mentioned that it would be a quick coffee and they gave us a table like a favour.Finish coffees and the same guy come straight to us. His words were: all finish? Thank you, you can go.For real?Don’t get why even having a bike rack outside cyclists aren’t welcome. Never again

Rude / unwelcoming from management. Our cycling club (6) stopped here for a quick coffee and a bite, well we arrived at 9.15 to an empty cafe, and the the manager clearly had an issue with us turning up. Reluctantly Put us on a table and almost couldn’t wait for us to leave!Unwelcoming/ Rude and unfriendly, even the staff felt uncomfortable with the situation and rudeness of the manager. This is the second bad experience here and won’t be returning, I will also mention this to other cyclists and tell them to avoid.I think the guy running it thinks he is the manager of the Ritz and not a Garden centre cafe
