Terrible phone manners. Because of a glass shortage they won't supply but will supply and fit. The volume of glass is the same either way!

Very poor service , do not return calls when they say they will & when chased they say they aren't bothered about your custom anyway !!It must be nice to be in the position where they can turn down work when they have kept you waiting for a month.We will not be back & I advise anyone else to do the same

Called in to see if they could supply a small pane of patterned glass immediately; I was kindly looked after. They found a suitable piece, cut it to size and even added a spare piece in case of breakage or problems.A fair price too; I'll use these again.

Quoted for 2 panes of glass £24 +vat, called to see if ready, guy who answered phone didn't seem to know what he was doing. Told me £121 first - had looked at wrong order, then told me £30 + vat, explained not what I was quoted - told me to get them somewhere else then! Very rude - can't believe how they do business. Only gave 1 star as wouldn't let me do no stars

I had a good experience ordering a large piece of toughtened glass, which was made precisely to drawing, when promised and for a reasonable price. I think Gateshead Glass is primarily aimed at commercial clients but as a retail customer my experience was just fine.
