Disgusting dirty hotel with an incredibly rude bunch of staff!!Particularly the manager Mark.This place is not child friendly infact its not even adult friendly its only good for the drunks and desperados.The hotel is not hygienic because it is not cleaned properly.Do not waste your money, go and spend an extra £20 and stay somewhere 100 times nicer than this rotten flea pit!!!

Wanted to give it more as owners & staff were nice. Why only 2 Stars. Room was ok, however I had the room above the bar and after a long day, the music till late was tiresome as very loud. Noise from patrons outside was as clear as day.We were going to eat out but after chatting to the chef/ owner we decided to eat in. Food was very nice and a pleasant surprise. However Sunday morning came and no breakfast or staff about. Ended up leaving room key on table in yard.Disappointed there was no breakfast, but we survived found a nice cafe instead.Is it a hotel, we'll no. It's a bar and restaurant that doesn't sell food on a Sunday. It's a shame, but current owner just need to up their game a little and they will have a gold mine.

Had a great stay and dinner. Staff were so friendly. Food was delicious and the portions are huge! Rooms are nice, Clean and tidy. Tea/coffee was very well stocked! I had my 3 year old child with me and there was a little noise from the courtyard but nothing more than I would expect for a Saturday night in a pub! She still managed to get to sleep easy! Would definitely come back.

We ate two meals with two pints. Very reasonable and extra large portions. Food was really good, freshly made and served in a friendly atmosphere. Great chat with the family owners. Top job, would recommend highly.

I did not stay at the hotel but went to both the restaurant and the pub. Hot chocolate from the restaurant side was like dishwater, really bad. We then went to the pub and the decor was run down, atmosphere was more of a coffee shop with locals constantly hanging around and in the way. The most shocking though was 2 pints cost £9 which for location and service/establishment is way overpriced. Maybe a nice place for locals and perhaps the prices are lower for them too but with so many options out there nowadays I will give this place a miss next time.

Quick lunch in the coffee shop attached. Generous portions and good prices. Left my phone by mistake and they had it safe when I realised and went back. Thank you so much!

Tried to get a table at 7. Was told 7.30 would suit them better. So OK. After arriving and getting a table we waited 15min for getting a menu and ordering some drinks. By 8 we were well ready to order some food. Got told they check in with us in 15min because they had a table of 11. Couldn't even order some starters to nibble on. 8.15 came and went without them showing. So told a passing waitress we would be getting food somewhere else. As the wait was getting too long for us. She just said OK and walked off. Drinks and food are over priced. Will never go here again. If you reserve a table the least you expect is to be able to order something. Food might be good but never had a chance to order anything. And we were starving.No masks being worn by any of the staff. Not following any guidelines.Went to the kebab on the way home as we knew they had fast service. Always good food at Oscar den.
