Royal Cambridge Hotel in London

Está bien situado, cerca de la estación de Paddington, de Hyde Park y a media hora andando de Oxford StreetNos tocó la habitación en la planta subterránea por lo cual no tenía ventanas ni cobertura. Era pequeña, pero tenía todo lo necesario para la estancia.La limpieza deja que desear, únicamente se dedicaban a estirar el nórdico y cambiar las toallas, ya que había polvo acumulado por varios días. Tampoco barrían y la moqueta de los pasillos y escaleras necesita una limpieza a fondo. Manchamos sin querer el nórdico y, en vez de cambiarlo, le dieron la vuelta.La ducha es fija y el agua caliente va y viene por lo que de repente te empieza a caer agua fría y no puedes evitarlo.El agua del grifo es potable y tiene buen sabor.El armario está bien y viene con varias perchas.La zona para dejar las maletas es el hueco de la escalera y no inspira seguridad aunque tengan cámaras.Las paredes son de papel porque se escucha absolutamente todo, desde las personas hablando por el pasillo hasta cuando el vecino tira de la cadena del váter.Londres es caro a nivel general, pero por el precio que he pagado en este hotel puedo irme a un hotel de 4 o 5 estrellas en cualquier parte del mundo. Es muy caro para lo que te encuentras (y eso que es de los más económicos) aunque por regla general así son los hoteles de Londres.

Room was very small which is fine for a solo traveller but beware if you’re not on your own. Hotel is rundown and not overly clean, I’d say it’s about 50/50 on whether or not they clean linens between guests. Rooms are pretty beat up, bathrooms not very clean and I had to hold the shower door shut while showering to avoid flooding.The woman who greeted me was very nice but there isn’t really any service to speak of. These are all fine for me because I’m not picky and have stayed in some sketchy places but is definitely something to note if you’re expecting more out of your stay. Good location, feels like a safe neighbourhood and relatively affordable by the insane London standards but I’d be unlikely to book a stay here again.

I stayed one night before going home so I could attend a concert in Hatfield. Very convenient, clean small one person room in a quiet street. Thanks, loved my stay here.

The family room I booked for 1 night is soo dusty and the walls had a massive hole and peeling paint off of it and a massive oil stain also on the wall. They mist have spotted these problems but to lazy to fix it

Me tocó una habitación muy pequeña y sin AA ( tenía pequeño ventilador), pero no me causó problema porque estuve más tiempo afuera que en la habitación.La recepcionista muy amable, supo entender mi inglés flojo. Mi último día de hospedaje el hotel se quedó sin agua, no saben cuál fue el problema pero tuve que irme sin poder asearme. La ubicación es excelente, fácil de conectar con los subtes y bus.

Disappointment: no cleaning and blood stainsThe hotel is very well located, close to Paddington Station.The decoration of the room was acceptable, but we did not have cleaning service. In 6 days, they only entered the room one day to give us towels. They didn't clean, so the room was always dirty. We informed the staff, they apologized, but the next day they still didn't clean the room.In addition, we found a sheet cover full of blood stains. It was really disgusting.We requested a refund of the amount for the cleaning service that we had paid, but they did not answer us. A total disappointment.

Good value for money, great location. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable.
