Trethorne Golf Club

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and tidy, and the receptionist was helpful. Additionally, the service team provided significant assistance when my car broke down during my stay. The food was superb, and overall, my experience was marvelous. I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent location and friendly helpful team. We always stay here on our annual trip to Cornwall and recommend Treethorne. Breakfast always good and rooms clean and recently upgraded. Just off A30 so ideal.Update Aug 2023. Still recommended. Great location and good breakfast

We are a group of 16 golfers who, for the past 2 years, have stayed at Trethorne for a couple of nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.This is just a fantastic place, and I really can't find fault with anything. All of the staff are really friendly, very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent, the service really good and efficient. The accommodation is really good, with everything you could need but, if you need more, you just ask. The weather wasn't overly friendly this year, but the course was in very good condition, with no problems getting a buggy, which I would recommend. It's an excellent location for other courses nearby, and we used it as a base to play at 2 other courses. We like it that much, I've just emailed them to check availability for next year, if they'll have us of course!

Not enough staff to to provide an acceptable level of service, the staff on duty were doing there level best,The food, my wife ordered cranberry, bacon and bire sandwich which was poor, bacon was cold, slices of bire were too cold, the option of being toasted should have been available

Pre-booked golf day with friends. Service was a bit slow but it was busy as it was August Bank Holiday Sunday. Golf course was in good condition. We had the carvery afterwards (about 4:30pm) and some of the veg was a bit dried out but overall an enjoyable day.

Room (29) i stayed in was extremely noisy, next to road, trucks passing all through the night, barely slept.Also no street lights around the hotel blocks. Attended arcade / bar & on the walk back had to use phone torch.Air con in bedroom gave off a aftershave smell so didnt use.

Rooms comfortable and clean. Food good. Clubhouse restaurant needs a bit of TLC. Nikki on reception and Becs our evening waitress gave excellent service.

Had a nice meal although no one came and offered deserts, we had to ask. Then, a couple of people in our group had issues with their deserts which were refunded. Nice setting

Great place to stay and eat at. Food and portions great. Some rooms are a bit dated but still nice. The biggest downside is the poor internet. Which reminds me of WiFi I had 10 years ago.
