We love this little book shop! Because it's so small and full of books, it has a lovely atmosphere of what bookshops used to be. Staff are very knowledgeable and always very happy to help, search for books to order in or to chat about books in general. We definitely recommend visiting for a browse!

Great independent book store. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Bigger than it looks but still a lot of books crammed in which gives it the old bookshop charm but can make it difficult to browse - but staff know where everything is. They have a step up to the counter so kids can handle their own transaction which is a lovely touch. Open 7 days too which is a bonus. Parking on nearby streets. This shop is not wheelchair or pushchair accessible though.

Such a lovely space, and despite being seemingly small, this little bookshelf has an amazing selection of books. I always struggle to find some of my favourite books in other bookshops, including a recent one called darkness at the door and was so excited to find it here!

I love this bookshop. It’s a treasure trove of books good for adults and children alike, and the staff team are really responsive if you want to order a book in. Highly recommend- we need more independent bookshops like this gem!

A superb bookshop. A wonderful and highly thoughtful collection of books for kids of all ages. A small but equally thoughtful collection for adults.Knowledgeable and very helpful staff.Would be even better if they could squeeze in a bean bag or two for indecisive kids to sit on while considering their selection.
