Noah's Ark Dog Day School - Wassand Street (Off Hessle Road)

After reading the reviews I was apprehensive about going to my work trial for an apprenticeship here. But I went with an open mind and it was exactly as others had said, after speaking to other employees, it’s clear that they only take on apprentices with no hope of ever getting a job at the end of it. The college course is mainly just English and maths exams with little to no education on animals. I got promised that I’d hear back by the end of the week to see how I got on, and I’ve heard nothing which is what other people had said (good job I didn’t want it anyway.) If you get a work trial just be prepared it’s basically half a day/full day for no money and they just get you to stand in a room with 20+ dogs for 5 hours or more and your not even allowed to sit down.

My puppy has been warmly welcomed and very well looked after by Leanne, Grace and Jasmine at Noah's Ark Dog Day School since his very first timid day there. There is a structure to the dogs' day which includes training sessions and the dogs are checked and observed throughout the day. A lovely touch is a daily report card so owners can read how their dogs have been doing and each day there is an award for Dog of the Day! I feel that everybody at Noah's Ark genuinely cares about and for each and every dog that goes there and they know each dog's individual quirks and personalities. I would highly recommend Noah's Ark as a safe, caring environment for your puppy or dog.

Took my unruly Sprocker Spaniel to Noah's Ark as a last resort as he was very difficult to control.Fortunately Phoebe told us and showed us what might help. This was not a miracle cure ...but was just what we needed to get a element of control. After two 1 hr classes, he is a different dog and just about does what he is told.He is still work in progress but we are both less fustrated on our walks.I have to give a massive shout out to Phoebe who has set both me and Frank on the right path.Thanks Phoebe you are brilliant and a joy to work with.Best Wishes Keith Tina and not least Frank...Ps will be back for follow up classes...

My little Rocco the spaniel, loves it here- maybe too much as once he gets in the car - he hits the deck and sleeps the rest of the day lol… staff always polite, good prices! Easy to book, and quick response.

my working cocker spaniel pup is always well looked after here …. i can get on with what i need to do knowing she’s safe, happy and very well cared for and loved! …. she loves the fact she’s made so many new friends.staff are lovely, professional, and my girl ALWAYS gets excited to see themthey have done training with her and i get daily report cards so i know exactly what she has been up to !! communication is excellenti would 100 stars if i couldexcellent service !!

I take my puppy Lulu to be groomed every 8 weeks or so and she absolutely loves it im just starting to take my new pup willow to get used to the groomers and the noise and the bathing doesnt seem too keen on the baths but the more I take her the more shecwill get used to it everything else she loves especially the cuddles Xx
