Excellent customer service and advice, went in for a cheap child's fishing rod for the summer holidays, and left with a fully set up whip.(which we be a lot better for her, and will last a lot longer.)

Excellent shop, great banter and tackle advice. Expert or beginner, nearly all tackle needs and advice available. Great quality baits, especially maggots and casters. Deffo worth a visit.

Was in this area when I needed some fishing tackle quick. Bring that I am into fly fishing, not all shops cater for this. I am happy to say that, even though the fly equipment was limited, I got what I required. All at a very affordable price. Very well stocked with all kind of fishing, be it pole or rod, fresh or sea water.. Chris has the lot. Would highly recommend.

Chris is a superb guy always willing to help even if you don't buy anything, the shop is being refurbished at the moment as I expect its been shut for Covid like most retail outlets, instead of whinging about price get into the real world and support local shops as there won't be any for much longer if the giants have their way. Who cares if you have to pay a bit more to shop local.
