We took our ten year old Shih Tzu here through a recommendation, they are so friendly and competent! I feel confident on their care and though our boy needed teeth out, he was so well cared for that he didn’t find the process too traumatic, us too! Can’t recommend them highly enough.

On Tuesday 8th June our chocolate labrador Rosey passed away peacefully at Thompson surgery. There are no words that can express our gratitude to the staff team especially Michelle, Anke, Mandy, Hannah and Jessica who were there for us and supported us with understanding and compassion. We would personally like to thank Michelle (vet) for supporting us with our wishes for Rosey's end of life care. Rosey was a lovable and loyal friend to everyone who knew her.We highly recommend Thompson veterinary service to other pet owners and hopefully one day in the future we will be visiting again.

Lady had two fine needle asperations for a couple of lumps, results came back very quickly. Can't fault these ppl, been with them forever and they've never let any if our dogs down.Nothing is too much trouble. We do have local vet but I'd rather travel further for Thompson's because yes they are that good.

Took our new puppy to this practice for her first injections, signed up to the pet plan they have on offer. The staff are so friendly and the vet was very informative in giving up advice about our breed of dog. Highly recommended

When you take on a rescue dog that has had a tragic start in life, there is a possibility that they will come with medical issues. My rescue hound Loki being one of them. I have had Loki for two years, and with the vets help and experience in diagnosing his conditions, he is living his best life.I find that the reception staff nurses and vets are all friendly and will do everything they can to help. Questions are answered fully without the use of medical descriptions so you understand what is wrong with your companion and the necessary treatments available / costs involved. There is a large car park, and the surgery is wheelchair friendly
