This company is stunningly inefficient. They took our lawnmower in for service and repair with a clear description of what was wrong, just before we went on holiday and just held onto it for 3 weeks at the height of summer and did NOTHING!. In desperation I called to find out what was happening and the woman who took my call new nothing about it!Next day she called back and asked what me AGAIN what was wrong with the machine she had just found! I repeated what was wrong and told it would be looked at. Another week and a half later I was charged £180 which I had to accept! It came back and smoked worse than before!They offered to try again. This time I attached a card with the faults WRITTEN down! Another week passed and I was asked for a further £110 the reason being 'the issue wasn't what they though it was!' I refused (especially the transport) and paid a token £35 'or it would not be returned'. A couple of days later without notice it reappeared an left in the rain! I have yet to try it!I will let you decide if the company are worth using!!!

I have had the best time shopping at NGM! I have bought 2 mowers, Dave guided me through which would be the best for me, and he has been spot on. He even spent time online with me working out my acreage just to make sure, let me drive a demo around the lot, and made me laugh. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my lawnmowers. I cannot recommend this team more highly. Their service is amazing, their knowledge is outstanding and their customer care is beyond brilliant. Stars galore from me.

Recently purchased a leaf blower and was very please with the service. Very quick delivery and great comms. They assembled the item for me and registered it for the guarantee without asking which is a nice touch!

Called them at 10:30am on Saturday and explained my strimmer wasn’t starting which I thought was a spark plug issue, asked the lady if they was able to look at it today and maybe replace while I waited which she said yes. Drove 40mins to them and was then told they wouldn’t look at it and it would be about a week or 2 to be done. Will definitely avoid this place in the future they are really not helpful, bank’s machinery near saffron Walden are 100% more helpful than this lot.

At last a mower retailer with stock and plenty of choice. Knowledgeable and personable salesman who took the time to explain, demonstrate and answer all our questions. Within the price the mower was delivered the next day. A full service experience and would highly recommend. GMS will be a first point of call for us for other garden machinery and tools

This is the 2nd year that Newmarket GMS have serviced my mowers and a fabulous job. I mentioned that the mower kept cutting out...perhaps a fuel line block. Well, GMS listened and the mower goes like a dream and better than last year- cannot thank them enough for a professional job. Servicing is not cheap, but the cost far out ways that when you turn the key or pull the cord and the engine roars into life! The sound of a quality job.

Wanted to shop locally rather than on-line and GMS didn't disappoint. Good competitive prices and excellent customer care from first enquiry to delivery. I was able to discuss best options with sales staff who had great knowledge of the different makes of mower. Bought a Battery -powered Toro mower which is excellent (so far, had it a month), good powerful engine and the 7.5ah battery mows a lot of lawn before recharge. Only problem it takes longer than the 2hr specified to recharge, more like 3-4)

Great place to find your next mower! We worked with Sam and he was extremely knowledgeable. There was no hard sell, just discussion on our garden and the realistic needs we would have in a mower. We ended up getting a great quality used mower and we are very happy with our purchase :)
