Bears On The Square
Agree with other reviews that children ( or adults!) are not that welcome in this toy shop. Grandchildren were very keen on the RSPB birds but naturally wanted to see what they sounded like. We were told quite rudely to stop activating the birds after a couple of tries. We did buy two but I would not shop here again. Sort out your customer service!

My daughters favourite shop, they are huge jelly cat collectors and this is the perfect shop to visit to add to there collection. The owner is very helpful and even showed my daughters the jelly cat catalogue. There is a bear for everyone here for all budgets and collectors.

A great selection of Jelly Cat, RSPB soft bird and Steiff bears. The shop is attractive and nicely laid out. However, from the moment we entered, I felt uncomfortable and that the owner was monitoring our every move. This is not a bear shop for children.

Wasn't allowed in the shop as I had no mask on despite a valid exemption. Glad i didn't spend my money as the chap was very rude, shouting & humiliating me in front of other customers.

Have been in this store on many occasions and went today with my daughter who wanted to make a purchase of a steiff bear as she collects them. Was greated by man who refused us to go in as we had not got a mask on. When I stated that it is no longer a requirement he replied its because we are isolating ! Very strange why are you open ? Can't see it being in business much longer. Such a shame as we have always had good experience of this shop on previous visits.

Awful experience. Despite one of our group having an medical exception with the wearing of face coverings. The owner was rude, aggressive and very unfriendly. Avoid!

I fell in love with the hansa rabbit in the dress so shes now come home with me and called cottontail. We also have brought home an adorable slow loris too. Thank you so much love this shop! Had to return to buy the aborable mouse lemar we had seen on previous visit. Visited again on 15/04/22 to buy a really cute lynx and sloth love this shop and there hansa animal collection. They have so many to choose from. See you soon!

Came back to the store after going three years ago on my eighteenth birthday and buying Kenya a beautiful Giraffe cuddly toy,I remembered the gentlemen in the store being so passionate about what he does and extremely friendly.Im glad to say after visiting this week that his love, care for what he does and personality still continues.We now have Oakfield the camel to join our giraffe! We can't wait to return in the future and strongly recommend that people visit.Thankyou!

Bears On The Square
Bought a bear from here and I love it!!! So well made and so beautiful. There is such a range! They even sell hand-knitted hats and jumpers for the bears! The man was super helpful and accommodating and even got out extra jumpers for me to choose from. I'll definitely be back.
