In the last week I have sent someone a parcel 1st Class signed for. I have also bought a CD online which was posted 1st Class. I am still waiting a week later for both items to arrive. Shocking. I rang the sorting office. It said no one available & I got cut off straight away.

Bought several items and asked for 48hr recorded delivery which the sellers adhered to, unfortunately Royal Mail don’t, no wonder people use everyone but Royal Mail, useless.

I use this depot for sending my return parcels back to the various companies that give Royal Mail as an option. Never had an issue, and the staff are always polite and helpful. My only issue is that parking is basically non-existent, so expect to park away from it and do a bit of walking. Seeing a bunch of reviews pop up that have nothing to do with the service of posting and collecting yourself in this branch.

Mail deliveries seem to have almost collapsed completely at DD5 4JS. When you phone the number on the website the message is that the number is no longer in use, but an alternative number is not given. How useless is this! No-one to speak to, complaints impossible to make and a shockingly bad service. You couldn't make it up!

I have suggested an edit for the number to be removed as the number provided for this place does not work. Found this out the hard way after trying to phone about a rescheduled delivery that didn't show up that I had to manually book because they missed" me despite being in on the day I got the card and my dog didn't hear a thing (he goes nuts when the door is knocked or the flat buzzer goes off. Despicable service honestly and I didn't even have a choice to have things delivered through this office"

Slow, rude and clues-less, every single problem is blamed on covid, it's been more than a year of this, this has stoped being a valid excuse. If you do send a parcel through royal mail, even if it's tracked or 24 hour delivery, don't expect it to arrive within a week, neither expect to be able to collect or know anything about your parcel.

You should update your opening times on here it states on here open till 4 but got a taxi to there at 12.15 to collect mail thats been withheld to find it all closed up with notice saying only open 8am till 10am what a waste of £13.00 taxi fare for nothing .
