Leeds Art Gallery
From someone who visited here monthly for 10 years or so, it's not really changed or improved much at all. A lack of events is uninspiring, especially considering the efforts other museums and galleries go to.The children's space is good, the art rooms are spacious and the opportunity to learn about the art is great, however the atmosphere & staff are generally quite miserable. Come to think of it's they seem actively grumpy.Cafe is priced high, although it's setting and decor is wonderful. No parking, it's in the centre of the city. Great for visitors, but not much change or sign of any events that keeps locals engaged.

Lovely old building housing a fairly small, but very high quality, collection of art. I loved the display of poetry from Iris Barry and the incredible paintings of Wyndham Lewis. A great way to spend an hour or two and feed your soul. And it's free!

I liked the museum! Especially the pictures that you can see in it. The museum itself is not very big, but that doesn't stop you from seeing a variety of fashion/culture.

Really interesting gallery. Well worth a visit. Upstairs galleries closed when we there because of rail strike, but some great Victorian paintings. Visit the library next door to see a fabulous series of embroideries. Excellent craft works for sale in shop below the cafe.

AMAZING museum with all kinds of amenities like a washroom, locker room for 1 pound, and a nice canteen.The staff is really nice and very helpful. They answer all queries in detail.Actually, staff is the reason why this place is so popular.

The cafe is in an amazing space, beautifully tiled. The Holman Hunt painting is a favourite, so expressive and filled with meaning.

First visit in a long time. There is a good mix of styles and periods of art, which is refreshing as it provides something for most if not all tastes. There was a big display of children's art in the entrance hall, which seems a good way to get kids interested in art.

Art gallery, not so big but full of interesting works, always free. Ancient and modern art, it's difficult to get bored, The library is free, some activities for children, the museum's café is beautiful.

I didn't have time to see the whole gallery. Decorated in a Moorish style. There is also a great cafe there.
