West Reservoir

This is one of two reservoirs that have been regenerated; this one as a boating and water activity centre. The edges have been replanted to make them fit in with the nature reserve of the. East reservoir. A main path around the north-west edge to the housing regeneration on the north bank is separated from reservoir by a small stream. Unlike the east reservoir you cannot walk all the way around the west reservoir as the activity centre with boat landing occupies the west end.

A great feature of the community. A wonderful place to swim and walk.

If you want to feel like a circus animal ordered around a circuit and forced to wear ridiculous garments this is the place for you. Completely ridiculous experience. Not an enjoyable swim. More like a punishment.

Great place to swim

Great place! The water is seems very clean which make me less concerned swallowing so much. The cake and coffee make it all worthwhile. Really nice feel to the place - well worth going if you like swimming.
