Bakers Park
This is by far the best place to park and walk your pet or a stroll through the woods. The car park is not very big so sometimes we park in a nearby street up the hill and walk down to the park.

My favourite Newton Abbot Park. Good for dogs who love woods and paddling in the shallow River Lemon which runs through it.

Bakers Park
It's a pleasant enough park but there are many dogs there and the last three times I took my dog there he has been itching like crazy for days afterwards. Fleas live in grass and I do believe there are a lot of fleas there and the Council needs to do something about it.

Beautiful place to walk. The meadow is full of wild flowers. Daisy our dog loved walking and jumping in the river. Great large green for picnics.

Bakers Park
Great place to walk your dog, can be very busy but with stream for them to splash around in, it makes for a great dog walk. Only 4 because parking can be hard and it can be very busy.

Lovely park and Riverside walk. A hidden gem by the River Lemon. Walk through the park and into the gorge. Lovely.

Bakers Park
Was part of a long walk and always nice to include in a route. Bonus being there is a great coffee stop with toilets.

We are so lucky to have this park on our doorstep. First park features multiple football fields, children's play park, tennis courts and public toilets. Mediocre amount of parking is an issue, but then again, it's 5 minutes walk from centre if town where there is plenty of parking.Once you leave the first field, you have multiple pathways around the woods to walk your dog, enjoy nature or just escape the real word. Beautiful, well kept and a fair bit of history surrounds this place

Bakers Park
Spacious recreation park on the Ogwell Road from Newton Abbot, it has limited car parking so aim to get there early on busier weekends. There is a small kiosk serving hot and cold drinks, snacks, ice-cream etc... And public toilets are located in the same building. There are two caged tennis courts and a basketball court, all free to use.Huge grass area for walking dogs, picnics and walking... There is a kids play park near the entrance which is well maintained, with zip line, climbing frame, swings and a toddlers area. You can walk upstream along the river Lemon or walk into the Bradley Estate.
