Ali & team catered our Wedding Reception - the food and service was first-class. Our guests went out of their way to tell us how excellent The Indian Dish were and our wedding venue were so impressed they've reached out to make them to make them a trusted supplier!The team were flexible and responsive when working with us to create our menu. We asked for Mango Lassis - which were authentic and refreshing and the tandoori chicken wings were the best I've ever had (which is saying something!). They just melted in the mouth.We're already looking for an excuse to book them again!

Firstly, I would like to apologise to Ali and Julia for the late review.Oh The Indian Dish!! - Before I even start, a massive THANK YOU!!We wanted to do something nice for our son's first birthday as we could not do much during COVID. We were looking for event managers and caterers for months and we came across The Indian Dish on Instagram and instantly fell in the love with the food pictures and were very keen to try them out. I got in touch with Ali on the phone and discussed everything in detail and he was available for the date we requested. We made so many changes leading to the event and Ali did not hesitate at bit.Ali and Julia took over and arranged everything for us. Right from the beautiful marquee, lighting, heating, China hire, tables, chairs, drinks, personalised menus for the guest and the delicious food. I have eaten a lot of Indian food but this by far is the best I've eaten in UK. It was something different, very delicious like home made food but with a twist.On the day, Julia and Ali set up everything so perfectly. They were like one of our own.The detailing of every thing they setup was flawless with personalised menus for the guests and on the desert which was edible. The guest love the food and hospitality. The kids had a great time. Food was spectacular, the starters, the main course and my favourite - a well made lamb biryani. Perfect!I will be definitely going back to The Indian Dish for more parties - One stop shop and totally stress free as we can enjoy the party and not worry about anything.Highly Recommended!!

Wow, what can I say about 'The Indian Dish' which is as tasteful as their wonderful food? Julia, Ali and the team catered for over 200 family and friends at a ceremony and wake I recently organised. The family wanted the day to be one of celebration for the life of their loved one - and one of the cultural customs they included was to spend time together sharing memories, food and refreshments. I was so impressed with the professional and considerate way that Julia, Ali and their team handled the catering - and the family made a point of saying the same thing to me too. Ali, Kay and Maddie provided excellent service for our birthday garden party, over the coronation weekend.The food was delicious. We had canapés and the buffet for 32 people.Very professional and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend!

Julia, Ali & the team catered for mine & my mum’s joint 30th & 60th birthday party. Julia was so lovely to communicate with building up to the event & we’re so glad we got to meet her in person at our party! The food was amazing, it was presented beautifully & it tasted so good. So many of our guests came up to us to tell us the food was great. The biryani was beyond!! Thank you much for putting so much time & effort into our party, we had the best time & I would highly recommend The Indian Dish to anyone that would like their event catered!

Ali and Kay came to our house to cater my wife's birthday party last night - a sit-down dinner party for 18 of us. The food was absolutely incredible - we had some vegan + vegetarian guests too and it was no problem for Ali to do something delicious for everyone - and they were so clean, tidy, punctual and professional as well as being really lovely people. Highly recommended.

While I was at a private event, I got the chance to bump into Ali, Hardy and Maddie from The Indian Dish. At the beginning I was like “let’s see what Ali has got” but the moment I got an opportunity to taste the canapés, starters and not to forget Gulab Jamuns, the food spoke for itself. I was ecstatic to have tried their unique combination of spices which have filled me with joy. Would strongly recommend to try them as they will leave you with an unforgettable experience.

We held an event with The Indian Dish and Julia and Ali were both amazing. They catered well to our requirements, got extra decorations and provided food everyone loved. We will definitely be contacting them again for future events!
