St. Michael and All Angels
A very friendly church who welcome all walks of life. So refreshing to meet a church that is inclusive of everything that matters in life. For families with young children there is a soft play area which helps entertain them during service, all children are invited uo to watch preparation of communion every week so they learn what happens and the Sunday school is run by two ladies who are great with kids. Tea and coffee, biscuits and cake are served after every mass and even lunch offered for free regularly! Father Steven will go above and beyond his duties for anyone in the parish, he is brilliantly engaging and inspirational during his services. This church feels like a family gathering very quickly.

At Michael's is a lovely church. Concerts and services are really good and the vucarvis welcoming. Ideal place to go for spiritual and musical appreciation. The organ is excellent. The superb Pro Arte Choir perform here three times a year.

I visited St Michael and All Angels for the first time recently. This is a warm, family friendly church run by an inspiring, outward looking priest. My four year old enjoyed the children's worship and asked if we could come next week. The congregation is diverse and full of warmth. A beautiful building, a very fine organist and an enjoyable opportunity to share cake and tea afterwards. We'll be certainly making this church our place of worship.

Completed in 1922 with subsequent additions over the years.Gothic with a hint of Arts and Crafts Movement influence lingering about the separate twin door projection facing the garden and elaborate metal gateway. An active community.

Really unhelpful and rude staff that don’t consider their neighbours. They manage a small hall behind the church where they hold scouts and services of those who have learning difficulties which is excellent for the community but they don’t have the same compassion for other people in the community. I have seen the scout members smoke cannabis, litter and shout. I live in a house across the road and heard about a young girl with mental health difficulties who left a bag of litter under duress and was confronted in a very horrible manner.

Everyone I meet there is lovely. I have always enjoyed attending services in the church even before Father Steven arrived. Since his arrival the number of persons attending has gone up and the average of the congregation has gone down which is a very good thing to say the least! Father Steven does his best, the best that he can do, for us parishioners and that is wonderful! Long must he stay! Come and enjoy a friendly church community. Once you've tried it (for a while) it's likely you'll not be wanting to go elsewhere!
