Tried to get a passport photo taken, as advertised on website. I was told that we needed to supply our own white background. Since we didn't bring a sheet or anything with us, we couldn't use this service. Website didn't mention this requirement!

The small kiosk in Festival place Basingstoke. Very friendly and helpful service. Very skilled at their trade. Some of the other Timpsons struggle to do what the 2 fellas here can do. I guess they are just old dogs of war. Will definitely use again

Avoid! Went in to take passport photos. The man at the till was rushing things through despite me telling him I need to check the picture before printing. I refused to pay unless he retook the photo, he refused insisting it'll be exactly the same. He tore the picture in front of me and I walked out. I've had very good service from many other Timpsons store - I'd avoid this one.

Tried their passport photo service, I told them the size I required as per my embassy's information, he refused to use other than the one in Timpson's system. Despite using a white backdrop, the picture came out grey and underexposed. The print quality was terrible as there were small black splodges on several of the prints, the guy didn't seem to mind it at all. I came home and discarded the photos as there is no chance they will be accepted by my embassy.
