Lovely Sunday carvery. Fresh veg and very generous servings of meat. I had the nut roast which was delicious. Good service and would recommend.

Excellent friendly atmosphere. Food good with very generous portions. Accommodation compact but all the facilities with ample supply of refreshments inc. espresso machine. Excellent value for money in beautiful country location only 10 min fro. Canterbury town centre. Recommended.

Went to the Evenhill today for Christmas lunch with good friends. 3 of us ordered Mushroom Risotto and the other ordered Pork Belly. Eventually we were brought out 3 mushrooms on toast not what we ordered and at the same time they brought out the Pork Belly. We sent it all back. They then brought out 3 cold Risotto’s which were stoggy so these got sent back and the Pork Belly was still cold as it was left to sit under a light. We changed orders to fish and chips for me and the others stuck to the Risotto but again brought out cold and was tasteless as not made with stock , wine and didn’t have any mushrooms in it. The Pork Belly was not eaten and then we ordered one more fish and chips which my shared. All in all a terrible experience and needless to say we will never go there again

Unfortunately we went on a day when a new chef was training and the food took forever to come out. Food was ok. I Would go back once the kitchen are back on track. Lovely front of house staff

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat at lunchtime. Place looks lovely and is in a nice location. Staff were friendly but service was very very slow. Only ordered a couple of sandwiches and they must have taken 40 mins to arrive. Halfway through my wife asked for a glass of tap water and that took 10 mins to come.

Stopped in for an evening meal only. Normal pub selection of drinks and food was good quality pub grub. Average prices, £67 for 2 mains, 2 sweets and three drinks. Nice atmosphere and service was very good. Plenty of car parking. Would happily visit again.

Bit of a nostalgia trip as The Evenhill was my local" when I lived in Littlebourne in 1986! Apparently accommodation block was built shortly after then. Rooms were clean

Cozy venue for a Christmas buffet with my walking group. Food was really tasty & staff genuinely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for Sunday carvery, which I had on a previous visit. 10/10
