M&E's wedding was held here. As a guest this was a stunning location, the staff were helpful and friendly. Food and drinks were great. Gardens have been beautifully maintained and buildings are sympathetically renovated to aid beautiful photo shoots. Having not been here for many years, I was really impressed by it's improvements and the care it has been done with.

We got married here on 12 August 2023 and had the best day. Victoria and team were thoughtful and accommodating throughout. The food is tasty with lots locally sourced, the venue is in a beautiful location and we had a truly special day. Thank you :-) Roshnee + Kris

Really enjoyed a wedding here. The rural atmosphere was amazing and i think the fire pit was a lovely touch. The staff were all kind and friendly, especially Oliver. Would definitely return for an event of my own, or if I find myself in the area.

We visited here on bank holiday Monday and was so disappointed with the food and service. We stopped for lunch and was made to feel most unwelcome and an inconvenience, we hadn’t booked a table and understood if they couldn’t accommodate us.The menu is so limited and a ‘tapas’ style. It was completely over seasoned and lacked any flavour. It was expensive for what we got, we’re more than happy to pay for quality but it wasn’t quality in our opinon it was extremely disappointing and somewhere we’d never return.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff are great, and they serve fantastic food. Both our dinner and breakfast were delicious. Fabulous setting, a gorgeous place to have a sundowner. One star off the rooms because they are warm, but I understand that they are putting air con in soon. A real treat.

Went there for my brothers wedding. It's a nice rustic place. The rooms were excellent and the bath was amazing I cant fault them at all. Location is tricky to get to, the views are good and staff were polite. The only comment was the food was below par for sure..I dont know how much my brother spend but they had a buffet. It was not enough for everyone and they were people that didn't eat as wasn't enough

Had a meal here in May 2023 and revisited in 15th July. First visit great but 2nd not so impressed. Service good but we were mislead on portions of tapas. 3 of us and told 3 plates each was usual. So duly ordered the items and the portions were larger than expected. Tapas are tasters but certain items although tasty were certainly considered a meal in themselves. However our main objection was the flies. We ate inside and there were no fly zappers. So spent most of my time brushing them off the meals or my head. Such a shame.

Our daughter and son-in-law held their wedding reception here a few weeks ago. The staff were wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The whole afternoon/evening was amazing.

We were recommended the Ferry House so we booked it up and had a date night. The setting is beautiful and the drive is worth it.The first thing is the staff, who are all welcoming and so friendly which is a good sign they are looked after. We arrived early so we had some drinks and sat outside and admired the beautiful scenery. We were shown to our table at 6pm by Abby and she was absolutely lovely. Abby knew the menu and we asked a lot of questions and recommendations which Abby pointed us in the right direction of the perfect meal. The food was incredible, the presentation was first class. The starters were beautifully presented and my wife had the Sea Trout and I had the duck breast. The flavours were so good everything worked so well together. For our mains my wife had the duck wellington and I had the pig cheek and smoked ribs. The food was faultless and again the presentation was incredible. The Ferry House has the perfect balance of lovely staff, incredible chefs and perfect location. Abby our waitress is a credit to your company and she made our evening thank you Abby.We will definitely be returning thank you so much to all the staff.

We did not see the rooms so cannot comment. Lunch was not exactly as we had expected. They suggested that we sample 3 or 4 options available to us which we did. However we were staggered when the bill came to ‘£105 - including the wine. Then there was an expectation that we pay an extra 12.8 % service charge! No way. We gave the waitress £5.00 and left. We had gone there with a view to see if it would be suitable for a birthday celebration next year. That has put ourselves off completely. Not to mention the very long and dreadful road we had to travel to get there / not just an up and down sort of surface but throwing us left and right as well. A nice place eventually but certainly not worth the money or drive!’
